I had an appointment for a chronic gyn problem. Neither the MA or physician took a focused history or a sexual history. She did a quick exam, then prescribed me medication that I had taken in the past and I had told her had not worked because my problem always comes back in about a week. Next time, I went back with the same problem. Without being given a choice, I was seen and examined by a PA student, which made me very uncomfortable because I am a medical student at the same school as the PA student (potentially could see her at school). Also, I didn't get a chance to speak with the PA at all, but I am assuming the student told her what was going on. The PA prescribed me the same medication I was prescribed before. The last time I went was for an IUD insertion. I was on time for my appointment, but I was taken back and told to undress from the waist down, then I waited for about an hour for the PA to come in. I was also surprised that she did not do a focused or sexual history before the procedure. She also did not have the dilator she needed in the room, and seemed surprised that I was in a lot of pain.

As a Black woman expecting her first child, it was a priority of mine to have a Black doctor. While Dr. Onyeije was pleasant, overall, coming here was a bad experience. I saw a different Dr. almost every appointment. When it was time for me to deliver, I had a doctor I’d never seen/met before. This place treated me like I was just a number, rather than a patient they cared about. They gaslit/dismissed me when I spoke on my concerns of having Diastasis recti post birth, just for me to have it confirmed by another provider. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else.

I love Dr. Lankford!!! Since the very first day she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I love her nurse and the practice . I can only recall one bad experience with this office and that was with Dr. Onyeji. She didn’t make feel comfortable at all especially with the reasoning I was there anyway, and the appointment felt extremely rushed. Whoever the nurse that was with her was great though! That one experience definitely doesn’t drop my rating, because Dr. Lankford is top tier!! She needs her own practice!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE her! Thank you Dr. Lankford!

I wish they accepted no insurance, without charging you a minimal $500 for bloodwork and ultrasound. I thought they could at least bill me, being that I’m 2 months pregnant and waiting on Medicaid approval. It was the quickest appointment I could find, but I was told the office visit itself would be $200, and I would have to pay before being seen. I’ve been stressed because of bleeding and it would have been a comforting blessing if Greater Atlanta Women’s Healthcare made exceptions for women who would clearly be approved for Medicaid, waiting patiently and experiencing pregnancy issues. Thank God Wellstar GME will see me on the 3rd. They explained that Medicaid would cover bills up to the past 3 months. The waiting and concern is overwhelming, however. Maybe someone who matters can look into this and possibly make a few changes.

The nerve of these people to keep harassing me about $56. She called to collect and I’m literally woken out my sleep from being hit my an entire car last night and being released this morning. I’ll most definitely be finding another OBGYN, since I already drive 30+ minutes anyway. They don’t care about patient health, they care about BILLING.

They charged me a "no show" fee when my stepfather was dying and I was unable to make it back to Atlanta for my appointment. I called that morning (it was a Monday) and tried multiple extensions but didn't get a live person, so I left a message stating what the situation was. My stepfather died later that same day, and I'm glad I stayed with him. I later received automated messages from the doctor's office about not appearing for my appointment - as if I didn't call and leave a message. So cold and uncaring. I liked the doctor I met with previously, but she was always very late for my appointments. So it's pretty hypocritical that they would charge me for not making the appointment when my stepfather was dying.

LONG POST ALERT
It has been quite some time since I was under the care of this facility. Recently I was triggered and it reminded me of my experience that I had apparently compartmentalized. I was a patient at this healthcare facility. I intentionally chose this facility because of the statistics on the lack of care African American women receive when pregnant. My experience was not horrible but it was enough to make me not return or recommend this establishment.
During one of my visit, I may have been around 3-5 months pregnant, one of the nurses came in to give me my check up. She appeared to be having trouble with the equipment. She tried multiple times before moving me to another room and attempting to complete the task again. I began to get worried. She came in and out of the room a few times. She then told me she could not find the baby’s heart beat. No empathy, no bedside manner at all. She didn’t even look me in the face as she said it. She repeated this a few time while shaking her head before going to get the doctor. At this point I was in tears. The doctor came in and within a short time was able to find my child heartbeat. All was well again.
My first child was delivered via Caesarian. I was given the choice by the doctor of whether I wanted to have my 2nd child via cesarean or have a vaginal birth. I chose to have a vaginal birth.
After arriving to the hospital the night I went into labor, we went through the normal process of timing the contractions and seeing how far I was dilated. I experienced contractions from 4:00am until about 10pm that night. The doctor had to break my water. I never reach the point of being ready to give birth. I couldnt take it any more. My body was exhausted and I began to really worry about the baby. I asked for a cesarean only to find out by another doctor that my child was too big for me to push out anyway. I was extremely upset and shocked hearing the news. I was never given solid number of the baby’s weigh at my doctor even though I asked multiple times. Only roundabout numbers and a confirmation that my child was on target. Had I known that I would have never put myself or my child in that situation. Giving birth is scary enough without unnecessary risk added. I thank God that everything went well and pray for the women that are handled even more carelessly than I was.

My first doctor was Dr. Camille Davis-Williams so many years ago when I had my first child in 1989. She also delivered my first granddaughter.♥️
I just admire Dr. Camille Davis-Williams for her professionalism so much!
At one time I lost connection with her and was using another doctor for years…
I saw her doing a special on ABC one afternoon and got so excited that she was still in Atlanta.
I have not had yet a bad experience with the entire office.
I thank all of them for great customer service which is so hard to come by these days.Thank you all for your service.

I absolutely love this place! I had such a great experience here. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. They even gave me a list of known primary care physicians when I mentioned I needed one. My favorite part of this place is that it’s black and women-owned!! I was so amazed by that. I’ve never been so excited about a GYN visit.

I really wanted to go here since I was recommended by multiple people but I had a bad experience. I was trying to switch to them at 22 weeks pregnant and I am now 26 weeks pregnant. They told me to get my medical records so I went through hell and high water to get them to them even in paper copy. I was told I needed to change my insurance cause they didn’t except the insurance I had so after changing my insurance and getting them my records, I’m told after dropping them off it will take up to 10 days for the doctor to review the records to see if I’m accepted or not. After multiple calls. I’m told that the doctor looked at my records but she needed more information. After calling my old hospital I explained that the info she was requesting is already in the paperwork I dropped off. I saw it and my old hospital saw it as well but for some reason the doctor kept claiming she didn’t see the info even though I was looking right at it. After weeks of wasting my time, I hear that the doctor is still saying no even after I told her the old hospital doesn’t have what she’s requesting and that it’s already there. It’s sad they don’t have doctors competent enough to read the full paperwork cause it was right there in her face. The people over the phone were nice but I could feel the doctor just didn’t care and if you can’t read, you can’t deliver a baby! I’m realizing it’s a sign why all this happened. I will be staying where I am.

I could go on and on about how much I love this OB office! It’s so rare to find a medical office where all of the staff have great customer service. Everyone from the front office staff to the MA’s, and doctors are all so kind and caring. I always feel so at ease at this office. I’m grateful to have found this place.

Dr. Williams is a good doctor, her staff is the reason why I won’t be returning. I came and paid in full for my visit just to get another bill in the mail due to the front staff not including my lab charges on my bill. After months of calling to see where the extra charges were coming from, late fees had been charged to my account. Ask to speak to someone about this and a Lady named Ms.Pam gave me a call back and was very rude and unprofessional about the situation. I paid my balance even though I felt like the office just wanted to get extra money out of me. Also watch out for the $25 no show fee even if you call and leave a message that you won’t be able to make it they will still charge you.

First time visiting and I am happy to have found this place. I was able to get my yearly done. They accept Oscar Insurance from the marketplace as well which it's hard to find. They are AA ran as far as I can see (Don't quote me though.)

The staff were very kind, but the medical processes/professionalism not so much. They do not return phone calls, do not answer messages in the portal, and incorrectly summarize visits in the portal.
