Edit: they also charged someone else's dinner to our room. Make sure to double check your folio after your trip.
They charge additional "Daily destination fee" for water and premium internet. You can then spend 15 of the daily fee on overpriced amenities. These thing should be reflected in the room rate.
Anything not eye level in fitness center has not been cleaned in a long while. The top of the machines have a nice thick layer of dust (go try a chin up and see), and spaces between mats are filled with layers of dirt, hair etc. Yoga mats are dusty and hasn't been cleaned. Sanitation wipes have been empty the whole stay. Sweat marks on all the benches. Would recommend cleaning these areas and refilling the wet wipes so at least the guests can clean things before use.
Rooms are OK but dated. Lots of peeling paint on walls and doors. Haven't stayed at a good Grand Hyatt in the US yet sadly after good experiences overseas.
Noteworthy details: Double check folio for mistaken charges

One of my favorite places to stay when I am in Atlanta. The hotel rooms were recently renovated and are gorgeous inside. I love hanging out by the pool or at the zen garden in my free time. Also all the catering for the meeting rooms is excellent.

The location is nice, it is in a commercial district, surrounded by restaurants and services. A business hotel, at least 15 min ride from historic Atlanta.
The rooms are large, clean and nicely decorated. I had a walk in shower in a clean bathroom. Also, fridge and coffee maker. Big window and comfortable bed.

Came in town on business with my wife and had a great time. This hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Room is clean and everything is always perfect. 10 star location convenient to alot of restaurants in walking distance. We will definitely be back.

Highly do not recommend booking with club access. The Grand Club was so small and so packed for breakfast, I was actually turned away. There were kids running around in this tight space. I was instantly overstimulated. Then, the lady over the Grand Club told me they didn’t have anymore breakfast, well before the listed time of breakfast and and instructed me to go to the restaurant. I went to the restaurant and told them I came from the Grand Club and they said I could order anything from the menu for free. But we all know nothing in life is free because I was surely charged for this breakfast. I thought I was treating myself to a stay at Grand Hyatt but I will stick to the smaller, lowkey hotels in the future. There’s so much space under the door, it sounds like people in the hallway were in your room. It’s the entitled people that come out of their room to have hour long conferences in the hallway for me. And the connecting door behind me. Their alarm clock was my alarm clock. I do expect some noise, but was very displeased with the amount that I endured. Do not recommend.

The hotel is in a great location, but I found it to be overpriced. The valet is $55 per day, and they also charge an additional $30 daily fee on top of the room rate. The valet even asked for a tip, which felt a bit pushy. The restaurant was a major disappointment, especially breakfast—it was a buffet of frozen or packaged items that tasted like they came straight from a food supplier. Overall, not worth the money, and I won’t be staying here again.

Was reasonably disappointed as I’ve stayed at many other Hyatts. Could be because the parking garage is across the street and confusing. Could be because it was under construction and the lobby was dry walled off when elevator opened. Just didn’t really hit the marks.

Even with the renovations, you can't beat The Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead. It never gets old coming here and the patio with the waterfall, pond and greenery is beautiful
Rooms: The rooms have been completely remodeled and are very nice. The views of the city are beautiful.
Walkability: Food and shopping are all very close.
Food and drinks: Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served on site as well as room service. The food and drinks here are delicious and they have vegetarian options.
There are also various other options from casual to fine dining restaurants within walking distance.

We used this place to host some training. The hotel rooms were lovely and comfortable. Got some great facilities and some lovely staff. I had a lot of great feedback about the food - I would love to see more vegetarian options is my only request!

Good hotel, rooms clean, location is fine. Staff polite and accommodating.
Rooms: Rooms and bathroom are clean and ours wasn't too small either. Iron, board and hairdryer are available. Parking fees from the hotel opposite in the parking garage, 24 hours. 40$. It's expensive but not uncommon in the USA.

I'd give six stars if possible. Always love hyatt properties, and this was better than most. The staff were super nice. Everyone from the front desk to the club lounge. They are doing some renovation on the main lobby, so you have to enter through the lower level. It's not very noticeable and I wish I could see the finished product. There is shopping and food within walking distance and a lot more with a short drive. The parking is a short walk from the entrance. We did have difficulty exiting the garage and had to use intercom every time. We were on our way pretty quickly each time.

Uncharges are a bit much and someone had a dog on our floor which kept bucking all night
