I was referred to Dr. Agnes Han by one of her former patients who is a friend of mine. Dr. Han performed the usual colonoscopy and noticed gallstones in the gallbladder area. She referred me to Dr. J. Luke at Northside for removal of the gallbladder. She caught it before I even experienced symptoms. She also did a liver scan, because my paternal grandpa died of liver disease, and I want to be careful of that. She is very knowledgeable and has good manner in her treatment of me as her patient. She takes time to answer questions and doesn't rush you through like a cattle-call. I have had no problems with wait times in her office, and her staff has always been pleasant and helpful. I have also had no problems getting them on the phone. I have scheduled the next colonoscopy, and hope I will be just fine in her capable hands.

Dr Han is fantastic, bedside manner is great. Compared to other GI docs I've had. Would recommend her hands down. The office has been great, seen other reviews where they like her, but not the office. Your there for the doctor not the office. Get over yourself.

Dr Han herself is pretty good but dealing with her office is an absolute nightmare. Be prepared for literally weeks worth of calls and aggravation is you need anything from her office at all. They could care less about patients. If you have any ongoing conditions finding another doctor would be a smart move.

I have been a patient of Dr. Han for over 5 years. She is very considerate and thoughtful with her visits and care. Love her staff as well. Wonderful group!

I went to Dr. Han based in a referral from my primary doctor. I was not impressed by Dr. Han to say the least. When you enter the waiting room it is like taking a step back in time. The decor and furniture have to be 20 years old. The staff were fine, but barely acknowledged my presence. Chatting amongst themselves without saying hello to me. I filled out the forms and was seen within 15 minutes. The nurse that helped me was great. Very attentive and friendly. I wish I could say the same about Dr. Han. Like other reviews stated, I didn't feel rushed. However, I felt like a small child while talking to her. When describing my symptoms she dismissed most of them and was hung up on the fact that I had traveled overseas. Despite it being 6 months after the trip and the fact my symptoms were before the trip she believed I had travelers diarrhea. After 30 minutes after combating me she sent me home with some tests and new medicine. I ended up just stopping the medicine my other doctor had given me and my symptoms went away. I asked if that could help and Dr. Han said it would help but not solve the issue. 2 tests later (note you have to do them offsite, not at the doctors office) I was fine. I knew I was fine because I called every day for 2 weeks asking for my results. I highly suggest seeing another doctor, there is a reason her appointment calendar is mostly free!

I can't say much about her knowledge and skills because we have't seen her much. However, we can say for sure that her manners in general, to at least certain types of patient/people, are very rude and very unprofessional. We have never seen this kind of physician before. She literally is like a bad mannered physician character out of a movie. We have decided to switch to another GI doctor after few visits. She has very bad manners, and also very impatient and uninformative as a physician and as a person as well. She also doesn't like to be asked.

I was referred to Dr Han by my PC and have hat a great experience. She ALWAYS takes time to talk- never feel rushed. Its also easy to get an appt. I understand some people complain about wait times but that is pretty standard in any doctors office- some patients unexpectedly take longer. I haven't had an issue with wait time!

Extremely long wait time to see the doctor - more than 1.5 hours!! Office staff are okay, but could use some customer service skills.

Terrific knowledge no doubt and really like Dr. Han. Feel like the care and expertise is very good. Issue is all the administrative stuff- mainly the very long waits and strange office staff behavior. Example- an 8:30 appt is desirable to avoid the long waits that occur at all other parts of the day. Arrived at 8:20. Office closed. Staff didn't even show up until 8:45am. 3 patients waiting in the hall...staff arrives- doesn't even acknowledge the 3 of us sitting in the hall. No apology. Not even a hello. Get into the office. Not even an individual apology or explanation. As if our time is not valuable at all. Dr Han not even in the office. Ridiculous and unprofessional. You'd think getting the first appointment of the day would skirt most of these issues or all of them as this office is always way behind on appointments later in the day every time I have been there. But no, even at 8:30am it's way out of hand.

I won't say that Dr. Han isn't a good gastro, because she is. But I will say why I will no longer see her: 1. 30 minute waits in the lobby, followed by another 15-20 minute wait in the exam room, only to be seen for 10-15 minutes and leave with a hoard of prescriptions, write ups for bloodwork that I have to schedule off-site myself. With Northside now charging SIX DOLLARS for parking, I should be able to get my bloodwork done in her office. 2. She will give you the WHAT without spending a lot of time on the WHY. That's really important for patients with complicated issues. 3. The front desk is a mess: 10 minute phone waits, and calls often go to the after-hours voicemail although the clinic is open. Folderd and paperwork are ALL OVER the place, and the scheduling and billing software often has glitches. 4. I never received monthly statements, but was told that I had a balance upon returning for 4-6 week follow ups. 5. I had to fight like hell to get medical records sent to other physicians. Over 2 weeks. There is no excuse for this. 6. Dr. Han's incessant need to discuss politics with patients. Not cool.

Her office staff is HORRIBLE, always expect a wait. If you have any questions when you're not paying Dr. Hann money, then you're SOL. She will only give you the time of day when you're paying a copay.

Find another doctor! I've been seeing Dr. Han for the past year and my level of frustration in dealing with the lack of communication and rudeness has forced me to switch doctors. Here are a few of my reasons for leaving: 1) the wait time for my last three appointments was over 2 hours -- the Atlanta office wait time was over 4 hours and the time spent with Dr. Han is less than 10 minutes, 2) getting a nurse to call you back is almost impossible, if you can even get through in the first place. For example, the office was suppose to open this morning at 9:00am and I kept getting the answering service who couldn't even take my name and number and advised me to keep calling back. It was 10:30 AM before I actually spoke to someone from Dr. Han's office. And, by the way, this isn't the first time someone from Dr. Han's office was late coming in to open the office, 3) my pharmacy and I have to call multiple times for multiple weeks just to get a refill on my prescription, 5) orders for lab work are never called in when they say are and it results in my having to call multiple times to get a nurse on the phone to remind them to fax the order in and then having to reschedule my lab appointment, and 6) the staff in the office are rude and seem very disorganized. Dr. Han and her office don't care about their patients. Save yourself the frustration and find another Doctor. I did.

She is very knowledgeable and friendly. Wait times can be annoying so its best to go early in the day.
