Scott Engel always comes thru for me. He is very proud of his work and does thorough consult to get you the best look for your budget no matter how the piece is sized or shaped. Truly a hidden gem. He is the only framer I trust to hide substrate and mount your pieces structurally sound. I love his work and his services. Direct and professional!!! I Love this framer!

My experience working with Scott has been excellent and by far the best framing shop in Atlanta as I have worked with some of the other highly rated ones in the past. If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out! He has amazing frames and is very understanding and generous with his time as we pour through the many options as well as educates on the various options on what might be good. He does an excellent job in steering in directions he thinks will work but with art being so individual in preference for the mounting style, he also adapts and adjusts based on your feedback and style preference. Excellent balance of providing guidance and expertise without any pressure on the buyer and he is a pleasure to work with and speak to and quick to complete the work.

Scott is amazing at his craft. I've had nearly a dozen art pieces framed by him and the quality is outstanding! His range of frame styles is very impressive. In addition, his covid safety protocols are excellent.

I picked up some stained glass windows that had been pulled out of the Abby (the old church/restaurant on the other side of ponce.) The windows were dirty and in poor shape, with damaged lead came and broken glass. They were fragile and could not even support themselves. Not having a salvage plan I brought them to Scott to see what he could figure out. He took them as a challenge. He cleaned and repaired them, framed them, and backed them with plexiglass. They are just so beautiful now, and are robust. I consider Scott to be part artist, part engineer and part magician. And I was pretty stunned by reasonableness of his prices.

Scott framed 4 posters that were very precious to me. He took the time to discuss the needs for each piece but was never pushy or trying to up sell me. All 4 were done with care and are now amazing additions to my home office. I really couldn't be happier with the results and will go straight to Scott for my next framing project.

Scott framed a large painting--4 x 4 feet. The canvas was warped and he was able to repair it so everything was perfect! His fees are very reasonable--and the quality is great. Highly recommend him.

Absolutely Amazing ! I found Scott on the internet in my search to frame a Peter Lik style photograph. Very large format and Scott executed the frame and mat perfectly. The value for the quality of work is exceptional and Scott is meticulous in ever aspect of his art. Highly Recommend !!

Don’t let the phrase “by appointment only” fool you - the studio is in his home which is in a lovely neighborhood. Additionally, he actually offered a larger selection of frames to choose from than other framers I have worked with in commercial places. Working out of his home keeps the prices down.He is very thoughtful with his guidance on frames and matting and, in one case, we used four (4) different colors of matting with a beautiful Italian lacquer frame. All of the pieces came out beautifully - highly recommend his services.Karen H.

The customer service was great. Scott kept me updated on his progress the entire time. He also found the perfect frame and mat, so the finished product looks beautiful. The pricing is reasonable, especially for the quality.
