I wish I could give 0 stars. My son, niece and nephews went to this store to purchase tissue on 01/01/2024 and were racially profiled by Mrs. Lisa. As soon as the honor roll students entered the store during their Christmas break they were advised by Mrs. Lisa that they looked suspicious and they could not enter. They were advised they had to stand outside in 30 degree weather. My niece advised they were all together to purchase tissue and Mrs. Lisa told them she did not care but the boys had to wait at the entrance of the store by the metal detectors. My niece immediately went and purchased the tissue so they could leave immediately. I am appalled and heartbroken that innocent kids had to endure this type of treatment from someone who looks just like them. I understand we live in trying times but to judge and racially profile anyone especially harmless children is UNACCEPTABLE! I am a long time Family Dollar consumer and I have never had this type of experience at any other store. However, I am the voice for my son, niece and nephews and I have contacted corporate to escalate this issue.

I would haven given a 3 but as I was leaving out the store, I guess the supposed to be manager with the piercing thought it was okay to call me a stupid customer to another customer because she was upset that her boss will meet with me tomorrow about what another employee had told me about returning a item. Can we just stop disrespecting customers as if they shouldn’t put you in your place when you’re only doing as you were told. The entire time I shopped she was venting outside to some short light skin girl and talking bad about I and complaining Ms.Lisa. I called Family Dollar and it definitely says some items have to be exchanged for the same items but, electronics amongst other things are an exception. The girl was standing right there while I communicated with Lisa and I’m pretty she heard me mention my results from encephalitis but you turn around and call me stupid and on top of that she didn’t want me communicating with her boss and she took the phone away from me. I guess whatever she says is supposed to go wrong or right. Talk to your employees about the wrong information being provided, not the guest. How dare she? I hope to never deal with that type of energy again. I got in the car and told her goodnight and God Bless you because Family Dollar is not the place to be fighting your demons. However, sweetheart I got your stupid.

The staff was nice but they can do better with stuff in isle and people can barely walk to get to what they looking for because boxes and stuff is in front of what you need .

I went in there to buy something and the cashier was rude telling me to leave my bag up front I felt like she was already stero typing me as if I was going to steal I will never shop there

The employees here are literally stealing money they are charging different prices at the register even when prices of items are shown not only on the barcode but on an item as well very ghetto unpleasant robbery of a feeling no eye contact and a lie saying corporate won't allow them to honor the prices we see in front of us with our own 2 eyes

Went in to grab one item and it took almost 20 minutes to check out !! It was about 6 people in there working and all them was just standing around talking and not working !!! It never fails every time I

Walked in w/ my 4 year old twins. Employee was outside the door smoking a joint. Literally right next to the door. I’ve never seen something like this. He didn’t even have enough decency to go to the car and smoke, my sons had to walk through the smoke clouds. Walked in the store, the young woman at the counter was checking out someone while she carried on a phone conversation. Went in to find cleaning supplies. The isles were difficult to walk thru because boxes were in EVERY ONE of them. Unpacked I should mention. I had to open a box myself to get my item. When I went to check out, I stood in an empty line for about a minute and a half before the cashier, who was smoking earlier, looked up from his phone and noticed that we had been standing there. No apology for the wait just “you can come one.” This store is JUST RIDICULOUS.

They have new employees and new update. Some of the employees are have some act like it high school after school club. They have update items and somr itemsbare hard to find. The parkllot is meh. They don't get on most customers who doesn't wear a mask, other then that it meh okay place to shop if you in a rush.. Bust be warned have listed veforebyou go.
