The premises are very nice, as well as the location. But the service is sub par and, especially when considered how much the hotel costs. For example, it was impossible to make any changes the the brekfast’s Acai Bowl as we were told its pre-made, but after have waiting 20 minutes for it and we wanted to leave early and go somewhere else they said the chef is making it. We canceled and went somewhere else.
In general the staff didn’t seem very engaged, and I gave the feedback on location without very much care received back.
I’m sure this hotel is nice for business travelers, but for personal holiday I would chose something else, like the amazing Glenn Hotel.

We hosted a family event there and it was amazing. The entire menu was gluten free and dairy free (and delicious). The place is gorgeous, the staff was friendly and professional. The epicurean is not just a hotel, or a restaurant, it is an experience.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Epicurean Atlanta during the PGA Tour Championship, and it was truly one of the best decisions we made for our VIP clients. Our event is one of the most high profiles events of the year, with complex logistics and last-minute changes, but the Epicurean team handled everything with ease and professionalism.
Adam Brown, their event manager, deserves special recognition. I’ve worked in the event industry for over 20 years, and Adam stands out as one of the best managers I’ve encountered. Our event is notorious for sudden room changes and last-minute VIP requests, yet Adam managed everything seamlessly. His clear communication and calm demeanor ensured everything ran smoothly, and he consistently went above and beyond to keep us on track with reminders about deadlines and managing our VIP amenities. It’s rare to find someone who can handle such high-pressure situations with grace, but Adam exceeded all our expectations.
Shawna Ash was also fantastic in managing our Friday evening reception. We had a reception booked with a late increase in guests, doubling from 40 to 100, and Shawna handled the shift with expert precision recommending alternate options and quickly putting our mind at ease. "The Office" was the perfect venue—elegant yet relaxed, beautifully designed allowing our guests to unwind after a long day at the tournament. The proximity to the guest rooms made it easy for attendees to freshen up and head straight to the reception, which was both convenient and comfortable.
The Epicurean property itself is stunning. From the moment you step inside, the attention to detail is evident. The hotel’s design combines modern luxury with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every area, from the stylish foliage along the walkways to the chic pool bar, to the soft yet rugged touches feels thoughtfully crafted. The rooms are equally impressive, and the culinary theme that runs throughout the hotel adds a unique touch that makes the Epicurean stand out from other venues.
One of the standout features of the Epicurean Atlanta is its walkability and safety. The hotel is situated in a vibrant, accessible area where everything is within a short, pleasant walk. Guests can easily explore local dining, entertainment, and shopping options without the need for a car, which greatly enhances the convenience of the stay. Additionally, the property’s commitment to guest safety is evident. The well-lit pathways and secure entry points ensure a sense of security at all hours, making it an ideal choice for both business travelers and leisure guests. This thoughtful attention to the safety and ease of movement within and around the hotel contributed significantly to our overall satisfaction.
The food and beverage experience was exceptional. The reception menu was beautifully curated, and the cocktail options were unique and flavorful. One evening, when our team was too exhausted to make it to a dinner reservation, Brian, the sommelier, went above and beyond to help us pick the perfect wine and personally delivered it to our meeting room with glasses and an ice bucket. These little touches are what elevate the Epicurean experience from great to outstanding.
What truly made this stay unforgettable was not just the quality of the accommodations or the elegance of the venue, but the people. The genuine care, attention, and adaptability of the Epicurean staff turned what could have been a logistical headache into an effortless, enjoyable experience. In a world where hospitality can sometimes feel transactional, the team at Epicurean Atlanta made it personal. They didn’t just meet our needs—they anticipated them, making sure that both our team and our VIP clients felt not just well-served, but truly valued.
It’s rare to find a property where everything aligns so perfectly—the beauty of the space, the quality of the service, the warmth of the staff, and the safety and convenience of t

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a concert we visited Atlanta to attend. Upon arriving the valet and the front desk attendant were very kind and let us check in early. We noticed the room was warm but didn’t think of it as we wanted to check out the pool. Upon arriving at the pool we were unable to find a seat. We heard many other pool goers say this is the easiest pool in town to get into, they all come on the weekends. This was disappointing, especially at an autographs location by Marriott. We chose to eat at the restaurant, since it was the only table available. The server took a minimum of 15 minutes to come over, before rudely asking if we needed anything. She put in our order, our food was brought out and we had yet to get a drink. Our drinks arrived 5 minutes after we finished eating. We tried to leave for the next 15 minutes and couldn’t find anyone to pay. We had to ask another server for our bill and we were charged for top shelf liquor. Out of frustration and inability to find our server we went to the room to relax. After pulling the sheets down to relax we noticed hard smeared boogers in the sheets. I called the front desk and they decided to send house keeping rather than move us to another room. We stood there and watched as they cleaned our room and did their duties. After the house keeping manager stopped by and insinuated that we must’ve wiped them on there because her house keepers cleaned. Annoyed I just disregarded and went to lay down. The new sheets were also covered in stains which appear to be blood and maybe human secretion. We decided to just lay down and relax before our concert because it can’t get any worse right? The DJ at the pool started playing the music so loud I couldn’t hear myself think. To compound the annoyance the tv also didn’t work. After complaining once again, we were offered a $10 credit for our troubles. I decided to talk to the front desk and ask for a manager, and was told they would call me. It’s now been 3 days and I’ve not heard from anyone. This front desk receptionist said they’d credit me 15000 points which I’ve not received. I surely won’t ever recommend this hotel to anyone as it’s very poorly run and maintained. The only good experience I had during the stay was speaking with Chris upon checkout who was super kind and deeply sorry. He said he’d make sure they give me the 15000 points and also took care of our bill from the Ariel kitchen. I really appreciated his care for customer service.

Alex A and team run a tight ship. Had one of the best staycation experiences at the Epicurean recently. Marriott status bumped us up to a top suite, breakfast vouchers, and bonus points out the gate! Pool vibe the next day was one of the best in the A. On our list to return soon!

I was here for a client trip, and I loved it! The hospitality was great, there is a restaurant on site, it’s 15 minutes (driving) from what you need (for example a Whole Foods). They give you wine or beer upon check-in. The rooms are spacious and they come with a bar! I didn’t partake, but it’s top shelf liquor, and if you didn’t want to go anywhere, then why not indulge.
Rooms: The rooms have a bar. What more is there to say?!

I have no words for this hotel!! The Epicurean definitely is a most place to stay in midtown atlanta and you have to meet all the staff great people and the housekeeper are the most loveable people ever and so is the valet parking people. I will always been a loyal customer at this hotel and will always be back no matter what. The people made my stay 10/10 and the property architect and everything is 100/100.
If you check in at night time CHIP the night reception is definitely the guy for you to see always!!
Rooms: The rooms are spacious and luxury! And everything about the room make me feel at peace
Safety: They definitely keep everyone safe at this hotel stay. And they make sure anyone that comes up to a guest room gets treat with kind but they call the guest in the room first to make sure it okay for them to come up.
Food and drinks: There's plenty of restaurants near by and bars!

Overall an amazing hotel with an even more amazing staff, especially Fay at the front lobby who was so helpful during our stay. Great pool and the Aerial kitchen by the pool makes one of the best burgers I’ve ever had at a hotel restaurant. Overall 5+ star hotel and they really make you feel appreciated as a Marriott reward member. Will definitely plan to return for another stay.
