I lived here for 3 years simply bc of location. The following are issues:
1. Leasing Office: Adam in the leasing office. He is not friendly and gives a lot attitude for no reason. Jasmine is lovely though :)
2. Trash: Entra has a valet trash and they leave they trash out for hours. The odor stinks up the whole hallway. Each floor has its own exotic must. The trash room is trifling. I have never endured something so disgusting. Makes my stomach churn
3. Amenities: Very limited for the cost. The clubroom and outside area closes at a certain time. The coffee machine works sometimes and even then there is no cups to hold the beverage. The Starbucks machine barely work. If it doesn’t, there usually isn’t any cups.
4. Parking: The gates to both the garage and the lot have been broken more times than I can count. Even during homecoming, my roommates car was hit and it was a bunch of unauthorized cars. They also had an insane amount of break ins into various vehicles.
5. Security: Entra is not a secure facility whatsoever. You can easily get into the building without a key fob. They have this little patrol car with an officer in it from HEX Security and they are not really doing anything. They do respond to noise complaints so be vary of that.
6. Maintenance: Me personally, I had a good experience with maintenance. They are quick and speedy. There was an issue with a maintenance worker where he was entering apartments, but he has been fired.
7. Random Outages: Within my 3 years, we had many random outages, including power and water.
8. BUGS: When I first moved in, I had an issue with ants. Where would the ants be coming from if I live on the 3rd floor????
9. Mail: Packages are usually placed in the hub, but for those that are not, people DO steal and many packages have been stolen in Entra. Always try to get it delivered to the HUB.
10. Annual Rent Increase: My rent has went up every year. I lived in a 3bd2br. I shared my bathroom. Rent was around 972 in 2021-22, 1050 in 2022-23, and 1130 in 2023-24. Keep in mind this is the renewed rate. No improvements was made to the apartment, yet rent just kept going up.
11 Hallway Maintenance: As I was moving out, I saw the maintenance lady cleaning the hallways. She was just spraying a cleaning solution in the air and spot sweeping. Those floors are not clean at all.
Pros: Events every month and they also have Food Truck Friday but why would you bring out these trucks and still have us pay for the food????
Entra gives prizes/gifts for positive reviews so please be weary. It is worth it to look elsewhere. Unless you HAVE to be close to campus, just look elsewhere.

Jasmin at Entra West End is incredibly kind and helpful! She went out of her way to help me and I'm very grateful!

Save your money and go elsewhere. There are more affordable options within a 10 minute drive with more amenities and are more financially reasonable. The space is not worth the price, having a roommate saves you no money, and you can't enjoy the shared spaces with visiting friends and family because their visitor allowance in those spaces is so low. The room itself is fine, modern decor, and new appliances. Literally only stayed there my first year of school because I didn't know I was allowed to stay elsewhere. If you have money to spend, then why not.

It’s an ok experience if it’s your first apartment. However, I would advise to go somewhere else. You can get more for the amount of money they are charging for rent and parking.

Great apartment complex, even greater staff. The complex is in close proximity to a lot of great places in the Atlanta area. If you are an Atlanta University Center student, I would highly recommend considering Entra West End.

Overall good experience. Not too great but not horrible. It's a solid place for students of the AUC to live. Your A/C might go out once or twice for extended periods of times, and the wifi is not too strong so you will need an ethernet cable if you're into gaming. The staff is alright. Sometimes they seem ecstatic sometimes they are meh. When I moved in a few weeks ago, ants were also living there, to an extreme amount. There were at least 4 different "armies" of ants in each bedroom and one in the kitchen. I personally do not feel right living with ants and they took quite a while to come spray so I had to fix the issue personally. Other than that, the apartment is good. Cool place to live as a student. Parking garage and parking lot gate are always messing up / broken. I'd give it a 3. Gives out free breakfast sometimes!
Edit: I have increased to 4 stars. I can say that they have been doing a profound job in fixing the issues they had. Like I said it's a good place for college students to live, only problem would still be the maintenance takes a long time. The parking gates also have been fixed and not broken again for a while.

the place itself is nice but i had such a terrible roommate to the point where i frequently went to the leasing office to get my room switched. and they would not let me. and i was willing to pay however much. genuinely was the worst living experience of my life.

This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived at! From the maintenance, to the lack of urgency during emergencies, to the CONSTANTLY broken garage gate (that I pay $125/month for), to the HOMELESS people sleeping in our elevator and streaking naked through the halls due to the lack of security, I have had it up to here with Entra. I was told it was "mandatory" to live at Entra as a first-year graduate student at Morehouse School of Medicine due to a partnership that Entra and Morehouse have. But, I wish I had known there are ways to get around that.
Each hall reeks of trash due to the trash room constantly being overfilled (see attached photos). There is also still dried vomit from someone who had too much to drink during homecoming (which is from October 2023).
While there are many negatives that triumph the positives of this place, I have nonetheless experienced a few positives. The staff does a great job of having resident events like food trucks, free breakfast, and the resident games. However, when a concern has been brought to them, my classmates and I (who are also residents) are commonly told "it will be handled" or "we will call security" or "we will notify maintenance", and nothing hardly ever happens - to me, it seems like diffusion of responsibility. I am willing to bet the leasing office staff wouldn't dare live at a property like Entra.
I have tried to get out of my lease several times, but have been unsuccessful due to their policy of finding a subletter or paying out the remainder of the balance. Surprise surprise, I was unable to find someone who could take over my lease after being 100% honest with them about the living conditions. I am very grateful that I have found a new apartment that is gorgeous, not $1664 for 1/2 the rent of a two bedroom unit, and is peaceful without tons of partying from undergrads.

If customer service is a reflection of property management and care for its residents, then Entra West End is the place you’d prefer for your college student. The well-appointed property was enhanced by an amazing customer service experience with Jasmyn. My wife and I went on a tour of the property with our daughter and her Spelman sister yesterday. What I can only imagine as a chaotic time for property managers in Atlanta due to the housing shortage at the AUC, Jasmyn remained professional and patient with answering all our questions. She set realistic expectations regarding the demand for the property, which we appreciate. The is a place we would want for our college student. It’s safe, clean and has an excellent administrative staff.

The building and amenities are nice. I went on a second tour once my daughter was able to join me. Independent of each other Jasmyn and Adam gave good tours. Their answers were also consistent with one another. Given the demand for units they were also candid about the application process and set reasonable expectations for who applied.

Adam delivered a fantastic end-to-end experience, from scheduling at our convenience to walking us through student hosting areas and sharing safety mechanisms to communicating how the management and the management staff support the students. Adam’s story was noteworthy.

One thing that I don't like though us their trash system. The hallways stink because all the residents are lazy and don't want to walk their trash to the chute. Cool place to live as a student. I'd give it a 3.5.

terrible place to live everything is always broken imagine paying 1k+ for the parking lot gate to be broken every week

No effort when it comes to security. Cameras do not cover cars in the parking lot. Gate frequently malfunctions and leaves cars vulnerable to break ins. They do not care.
