The tacos were the highlight of the meal, especially the asada and pastor were marinated really well. Tacos are now $2.99 (not the $1.29 from their online menu), but still very affordable and worth it. You will get your order faster if you pay with cash, otherwise you’ll have to put your order at the front grocery checkout and come back with your receipt. Amex and Discover cards not accepted. The parking lot was big and easy to find parking. Excited to come back again!

Great tacos, tortas, and burritos in a dingy bodega. It can get crowded so expect to wait in line.

This place is authentic and the food is really good the only problem is they run on Mexican time so they're open when they want to be

Best, authentic tacos you can find in Atlanta. Pork and Tongue tacos are both very good.

Wow! Legit street tacos! Nothing else like these ? in 30316. Serious vibe, it’s right next to a prison, no one is messing around. The music was gritty but the food was heavenly. They took kinda long but hey, I’m not gonna say anything, it’s worth it.
Kid-friendliness: ?

Beat tacos I had in a minute. Too good to gatekeep! Juicy tender flavorful meat. I got the carne asada and it was GREAT, my friend Sarah got chorizo and it was also SO FLAVORFUL AND DELICIOUS!!

My boss bought me a chicken burrito with extra avocado from here…smashed it…best burrito I had in my life…went to sleep dreaming about it. Maybe because I’m pregnant

My coworker recommended this place to me, he called it "prison tacos" though, which threw me off but I was able to find this place pretty quickly and easily anyways! The food/tacos are in the back of the store and it definitely seems like a mom and pop type of operation. Despite the hidden nature of this place and seemingly few customers, the food was amazing! I got 3 tacos but also asked for some rice, beans, and a little side salad since they don't do a taco platter (the platter comes with this stuff on the side)... the guy taking my order was a little confused at first but charged the extra stuff as something else, I'm not sure what, and I was able to get what I wanted! The prices are more than fair, the taste is on point, and they make the food pretty quickly (but not so quickly that you feel like it's pre-made or anything). They only had a little bit of the green salsa left when I went, whereas I think they usually have 2 types, but I LOVED the green salsa.. idk if it's some bottled kind, but the next time I go I plan on asking if it can be bought. The tacos themselves were perfectly constructed, good amount of filling and the onions and cilantro were the perfect mix.

Probably the best tacos we’ve ever had! The tortillas tasted like abuela herself made them fresh in her kitchen. lol. Delicious…..our new spot when we are in the city!!!
