The room wasn't bad for $70. The security guard was incredibly kind and accommodating. He helped us with our luggage also. He was very thorough and did his job well. If I ever need to stay in ATL again, I'm definitely coming back!

Run away from here while you can, you're still on timeBasically I can't highlight any good point of this accommodation.First of all, they don't respond to the messages prior to the trip. And when we called the airport and called the hotel to ask for shuttle, they just said they didn't have it. Why? Do you never have? Doesn't it work today? Is it broken? His rude answer was "Simply not"The surprise is when we arrive at the hotel in Lyft to see the passenger pick-up van parked at the door. The condition of the hotel is unfortunate.- Smell of urine in the hallways.- Broken doors and windows (see picture)- Dirty room with the smell of a cigarette (see photos)- Humidity in ceilings and walls (see photos)The next morning in the "continental breakfast" there was practically no food (we were the first customers of the day). 2 apples and two slices of bread. no coffee, no juice.Undoubtedly the worst hotel I have ever slept in my life. I don't understand how the health authorities allow this site to be working.Rooms: Dirty, moldy rooms with great damageSafety: Dangerous place. A lot of nocturnal criminal activityFood & drinks: Practically non-existent although they announce a “continental breakfast”

I unknowingly booked a smoking room, and they refused to change it, saying my complaint was reported passed 15mins of gaining access to the room.this room was horrible, Bad floor, stained furniture with bed bug like spots(I didn't see the bugs), horrible smell, burnt mattress, old bedding, sickening toilet. This is the worst room I have ever been to.The lady on the reception was so rude, yet I complained politely( I was even willing to pay an extra fee for changing the room. Only what she had to say was that I either retain the room or checkout. I decided to check out after one night.Rooms: Maybe it's the room I got that had issues, but this place was horrible. Bad floor, stained furniture with bed bug like spots, horrible smell, burnt mattress, old bedding, sickening toilet. This is the worst room I have ever been to.There was a screen with a pre-set channel and volume level, but with a faulty remote control,At least provide air fresheners in the rooms.Nearby activities: To be honest, apart from having a Marta stop at the site, being close to the airport, and a nearby KFC. The nearby wasn't appeasing at all.Food & drinks: My booking had breakfast on it, only to be told it was past serving time. Yet I wasn't told when breakfast ends.

This hotel was horrible. Infested with roaches. I walked in and saw 2 roaches on the floor. The room was not clean and there was no safety at all with the door. I was only there long enough to see the bugs and walked out. They would not provide me with a refund. This place is horrible and did not look like pictures at all.Rooms: Very dirty. Roaches crawling.Safety: No lock on the door and exposed locks and looks like someone tried to break in.

This is absolutely the WORST hotel in the state of Georgia. Floors were dirty and nasty and roaches were crawling. Alerted the staff and even asked for a broom and mop and we were told housekeeping locks it up when they leave during the day. The place was so filthy until we couldn’t stay we left.

Don't be fooled by any pictures you see online of this place! This particular motel is on the same level as sleeping in your vehicle. The room floor was sticky, the a/c wall unit was missing its cover, the door didn't have a security latch, I stood in line outside for about 30 minutes before I was checked in, no one at the front desk (at all ) to renew my reservation. So, I canceled it & went next door to Holiday Inn Express. There's a Hilton, Sonesta, Holiday Inn & another hotel within walking distance of this motel. Stay away from the Motel 6 across the street because it's full of cigarette smoke & roaches, but the customer service is better. Stay at this EconoLodge only if you're living on the streets & you need a bed in the dead of winter. Also, the first room that they gave me didn't have any electricity.

Terrible, doesn't look at all like the pictures. It's not a hygienic place at all. I'm pretty sure there's no one cleaning after each guest , the bathroom was with old soap and hair in the walls , disgusting, it's shamefull that they charge that amount of money, a public restroom us cleaner than this "hotel" , not safe at all , everything is falling apart, broke or dirty, staff is not friendly or welcoming at all.Rooms: Horrible , smelly, shady , broken, DIRTY

This place is absolutely trash. Dirty rooms bathroom is scary looking furniture old & run down. On top of that the room that I had doors didn’t even lock. No safety latch. No locks at all! Went to get a room change they say I have to upgrade. This place isn’t worth a dime of a working class citizens money.

Worst place I ever stayed. Completely disgusting from the bed to the AC and sink. I only stayed a few hours but was charged for 2 days and 2 deposits. $250 for 4 hours in this place. I called about returning my money and they hung up and never answered again. Haven't even received a receipt.

Stayed in this hotel, the security guard tried to press up on me, quickly let him know that it is kind of party, had bedbugs, the lady when I called about it and showed her the picture she suggested it was a different hotel and that picture was not from their hotel. I’m gonna try to dresser make over 100K a year no reason to lie, NEVER AGAIN. TERRIBLE BLACK OWNWED BUSINESS!!

The staff were nice. The hallways were smelly and dirty. The elevator seems unsafe. The room was just terrible. This hotel should not exist. The walls, bed, bathroom, all just not what the Choice Hotel Chain should allow. Please clean and renovate.Rooms: The rooms were just the worst ever. Please renovate on a regular basis. Very scary.Safety: There was a guard at night, but the walkways were dark and it seemed so unsafe.Noteworthy details: They were to have an airport shuttle, but no one was at the counter. I took an Uber to ATL for $18.00 it was 6 minutes away.

We got stuck overnight at Atlanta International Airport. This seemed like it would be an okay place to spend the night. That was an incorrect assumption. It was bad, it was so bad. Don't get me wrong. I have stayed in some really nice hotels and I've stayed in some hotels that aren't so great, but this one is probably the worst. During the entire check-in process, a loud, drunk and aggressive group was carrying on outside the little glass booth where you check in. That being said, there was a security guard present who was keeping an eye on things. We go to our room and It almost defied belief that it was an operating business. The parking lot is filthy, with both trash and literal dirt as well as being broken apart and poorly maintained. The area outside of the room has literal mounds of bags of trash piled in a corner that have seemingly been there for quite a while. Looking deeper into the hotels " courtyard pool area" there were planters filled with dead plants. Piles of broken and busted up furniture, random filthy mattresses leaned against the walls and just a general aura of filth, decay and negligence. It didn't get any better inside the room. The door was missing its peephole mechanism meaning that it was just simply a hole in the door where you could see in or out. The room was supposed to be non-smoking, but the surfaces had plenty of cigarette burns and carried a heavy smell of smoke. The air conditioning unit sounded like an idling high mileage Kenworth. The carpeting which had been red was crushed and matted with filth to the point that it was black and shiny in some areas. The bathroom was as gross and dirty as at this point you were probably imagining it. There was no garbage can. At that point we got on the phone and began seeking alternate accommodations. Fortunately, there is a Clarion about a block up the road. When we came back around to the check-in booth, the night manager just held up his hand before we even got a chance to speak, sadly, nodded his head and motioned for us to go around to the lobby door where the security guard let us into the actual lobby. We had to wait a few minutes to speak to him as a fight had broken out in the pull through area adjacent to the little glass check-in booth. While the security guard was dealing with this, a group of about five people had squeezed into the small booth and were taking turns screaming at the manager. They seemed to be with the group that was fighting outside. After a few minutes the guard came back in and their group eventually left. We still hadn't had a chance to speak, but we're at least now in the relative safety of the lobby. The manager finally looked up at us and said you don't have to say anything. I'll start processing your refund immediately. Both he and the security guard were very gracious, polite and accommodating. That being said, it was still very difficult to get the refund issued to my credit card. It was only the credit card company and booking agency applying pressure to the hotel themselves that got a refund generated at all. (Upper management wanted to keep a portion of it despite what the night manager had done.) We did eventually get all of our money back but it took quite a fight. The Clarion across and a little down the street was clean, comfortable and safe.Go there, go anywhere else. Spend a little bit of extra money and live through the night.Just stay far away from this place.

The place itself is (really) not fantastic. I would give the building one star. Everything in the room was "clean" but it was dirty from age and abuse. I booked this hotel in a pinch and the service was excellent, very helpful staff.Food & drinks: Close to the Waffle House and a few other restaurants (walkable).

I normally don't do reviews, but this is not a safe place. We checked in and left to go to the store, and thank God we didn't take our belongs out of the car. When we got back, we was I formed that a lady and a man had been in our room and the room next to us?. It's just not safe. I couldn't sleep that whole night, just so much suspicious activity was going on. The condition of the rooms was the next level unsanitary. We could only sleep on top of the covers filled dressed. I just hope someone really helps that business so it can serve the customers better!!

First up, the room photos you see advertised on Google Maps and hotel booking sites are not from this hotel so please do not be fooled. In over a thousand hotel stays worldwide, this property is simply the worst I have ever experienced anywhere. My hotel standards are very low but please do not do what I did and think "how bad can it be?" and choose to stay anyway. It'll be 100 times worse, trust me. I felt genuinely unsafe here, and the place is disgustingly unhygienic. From broken furniture and door locks to mould / damp, cockroaches, exposed wiring, sketchy people, rude and threatening staff, the smell, a floor so dirty my feet were black, this place has it all. If you want to stay in this area, please, it's not worth it, choose literally any other hotel.
