As a client for more than 8 years, I have found that Eberly & Collard’s owners and staff are extremely authentic, reliable and professional. Their work ethic quickly earned my trust. Anything they say they will do for my business, they accomplish quickly and with excellent results. . Eberly and Collard have become my go-to for business strategy and implication. At the end of every meeting, I am blown away by their ability to always be two steps ahead. In turn, this creates an effortless transition from plan to action.

Eberly Collard Public Relations has been a part of my business for 4 years. During that time, I've developed a personal relationship with both Mr. Eberly and Mr. Collard. They have become close friends and are genuinely kind and helpful people. Their personalities definitely show in the work they do, which makes business with ECPR a great experience. Not only has my business grown, but my personal image in the business community has been positively impacted too.

I am an interior designer in Atlanta. I have 27 years experience in my industry. I relocated here in Sept. 2015. I talked to other designers and they said the best thing I could do would be to hire a PR firm. With some research I found of Eberly & Collard PR. I signed a contract with them on Aug 25, 2017 for $12,000 and they were to deliver verbatim "One press release/article, a written bio, mission statement and brand narrative messaging". I was clear with them that I needed results before demand falls off during the holidays.I paid them $10,000 on Aug. 31, 2017. They did not send me questions for the article until Sept 8. On Sept 14, I sent my response. It wasn't until Sept 26 that they completed the 598 word article. It got submitted to one, online outlet, PRNEWSWIRE on Sept. 27. Their agreement said verbatim "A press release will be submitted to a network of over 30,000 journalists, 3,000 National Newspapers, 3,000 TV Stations, 3,000 radio stations and 6,000 News/Web Databases." I took this to mean they would distribute the article to a network of their own cultivation, a network that they developed, I was wrong. While the article did get placed on various websites via PRNEWWIRE, it generated no business. I was left in a tail spin.Tues Oct 3: They demanded the remaining $2000 of the contract total. They had only delivered the article the prior Wednesday. According to the agreement it was due on Oct 1 (a Sunday). They threatened legal action if payment was not made immediately. "You are now past due on your remaining balance of $2,000. By your defaulting on the owed balance, you are preventing us from staffing and servicing the branding narratives that were earmarked for October. Should you like to remit the past due balance in full by tomorrow, October 4, 2017, 5:00 PM EDT, we will be glad (and enabled) to proceed with the branding narrative portion of the contract. In closing, the unpaid balance of $2,000 was never an optional payment. Moreover, it was and is a requirement on your part as allocated for in the signed agreement. (not 2 parts). It is our hope you will remit the past due payment and thus collaborate with us in a professional manner, so we can together work on the branding narratives amicably. If you otherwise choose to handle this matter negatively in any way, or disregard the above information, we will have no choice but to turn this matter over to our counsel." (2 days after due)October 4th, I paid them the balance on the contract.Oct 5th they sent a questionnaire for a narrative of my company.Since the $12,000 I spent with E&C generated no inquiries, no business. I asked them if we could come back to it when I could address it. Their response was:Oct 13: "We will complete the narratives after we receive your finished questionnaire. Of note, since it is past the timing of the project, we will have to work it back into our schedule after we receive your answers to the questions we provided. This may mean it will take a bit longer than if we had had the information in hand when the project was still active. But, yes, we will provide the branding narratives as described in our plan." I took them at their word.April 22: I sent my response to their second questionnaire.April 23: I follow up on having sent the questionnaire.May 18: As I received no response whatsoever in nearly a month, I filed a small claims case.July 23 at the courthouse. They said I didn't give them enough time to respond to my April 22 email and they say they would still be willing to deliver the remaining items from the agreement, just like they said on Oct 13th.Since I felt that their agreement was misleading, I sued for refund. The judge sided with Eberly & Collard because their agreement said the project contract was for 9/1 - Oct 31. So despite their promises to deliver the remaining items later, I never got them and they got $12,000.00 for one 598 word, one page document.

ONLY THE FACTS: I am an interior designer in Atlanta. I have 27 years experience in the my industry but since I relocated here in Sept. 2015, I am as of yet, fairly unknown. I talked to other designers and they said the best thing I could do would be to hire a PR firm. I did some research and found the website of Eberly & Collard PR. I signed a contract with them on August 25th, 2017 for $12,000.00 and they were to deliver verbatim from the contract "One press release/article, a written bio, mission statement and brand narrative messaging". It finally got submitted to one, online outlet, PRNEWSWIRE on Sept. 27th. I personally believe their agreement was very misleading. It said verbatim "A press release will be submitted to a network of over 30,000 journalists, 3,000 National Newspapers, 3,000 TV Stations, 3,000 radio stations and 6,000 News/Web Databases." I took this to mean they would distribute the article to a network of their own cultivation, a network that they developed over their careers, I was wrong. While the article did get placed on various websites via PRNEWWIRE, it generated no business for me. Their contract did not promise that I would get any business from their efforts but it didn't even generate a phone call or any traffic to my website. Because I got no new business from my $12,000 investment in their services, I was left in a tail spin. Tues Oct 3: They demanded the remaining $2000 of the contract total. Mind you, they only delivered the article the prior Wednesday. It was due according to their agreement on Oct 1 (a Sunday). I respond that the first $10,000 has produced no web traffic no phone calls and no income. They threaten legal action if payment is not made immediately. "You are now past due on your remaining balance of $2,000. By your defaulting on the owed balance, you are preventing us from staffing and servicing the branding narratives that were earmarked for October. Since the $12,000 I spent with E&C generated no inquiries, no business, nothing, I was in a real bad spot. And I had bigger problems now than answering their second questionnaire. I asked them if we could come back to it when I could address it and their response was on: Oct 13: "We will complete the narratives after we receive your finished questionnaire. Of note, since it is past the timing of the project, we will have to work it back into our schedule after we receive your answers to the questions we provided. I took them at their word. April 2

I have work with Jeff and Don for over a year now and I can say one of the things I appreciate most about them and their firm is the attention to detail that they put into everything they do. These guys really do dot all the i's and cross all the t's and i am not just saying that. These guys pay serious attention to detail. That being said if you have a chance to work with them in any capacity...DO IT!

Eberly & Collard Public Relations manages my PR and speaking events and I highly recommend the firm to anyone looking to boost brand awareness and publicity for interior design and architecture. I can say the owners and staff work very hard to meet our PR needs and produce media results for us year in and year out. They have a good work ethic and reputation for being dedicated to their clients and the design industry. Posting a pic of one of many design magazines they have worked with on our behalf to secure media coverage.

Met with Jeff and he explained everything very simply and adequately! Office environment was very friendly and welcoming, plus their space is in a fantastic location in O4W! Jeff made me feel very confident about using their services and was able to provide many examples of earned and paid media that they had done for past clients. Great people! Highly recommend!

When I am looking for a PR firm I am looking for a company that is established, knows how to treat clients and does phenomenal work. Jeff, Don and his staff at Eberly & Collard are just that. I was impressed by the amount of knowledge and transparency that was given with prospective questions. They walked me through the process of bringing a client on, assessing the needs of that client and then working with them to help promote that business using the tactics, strategies and relationships from years years of experience. The hold themselves to very high standards. They want to make sure that the work that is done is done correctly for the objective of publishing and promoting your brand/business. I have worked with other PR companies in the past and the end goal was to throw up a piece of content and call it good. Eberly & Collard take pride in the work they do and you can see it in various magazines and case studies located on their website. Thank you for taking the time to meet with me face to face, keep up the good work and I look forward to working with Eberly & Collard in the future.

Our company secured the resources and "services" of Eberly & Collard Public Relations firm in August of 2014. We found them to be extremely difficult to communicate and work with, and often hid behind a Statement of Work that they used as a "contract". When presented with a strategy brief from the client, they refused to adjust to the strategy or provide any plan in which they were going to work against the strategy. Their customer service is atrocious. The client can rarely get anyone on the phone, and if do speak with either Jeff Collard or Don Eberly, the owners, they are condescending and will talk over the conversation without listening to the client. When we ended our contract early with them in January 2015 due to our grievances, they resorted to personal attacks on the clients in the discussion. Next, on the Saturday morning of Easter weekend, TWO MONTHS after we ended the contract with them and without ANY further contact, one of the owners, Jeff Collard, sent me the following text message out of the blue: "deleting all fat bitches from my contact list, you made the cut!!!!" When confronted about the text message, they tried to publicly say that I was lying that it happened! I definitely would NOT want them representing my brand. Any good business, especially any reputable PR firm, would handle "clean up" from such a personal attack on a former client much differently. I've reported the text incident to the BBB and PRSA ethics board as well voicing this review of my experience with them overall. CLIENT BEWARE.
