Great location, you can walk to the park, enjoy the local places in The Battery, and on the other side of a footbridge you come to the Cumberland Gallery and all it has to offer.
The staff at this particular property were fantastic, and I would recommend this place to anyone staying for a game or otherwise.
Room was clean and spacious, and I liked looking down into the atrium from the balconies in the suite.

The rooms are short of old, tired, and well used. It's clear that this place was formerly an Embassy Suites. Nice staff though!

No USB ports in room. No business center/computers in lobby. Breakfast buffet in atrium served practically in the dark, stingy with lighting. Odd corner-cutting just so they can give you two cookies in an otherwise-acceptable facility near Truist Park and Dobbins AFB.

Awesome place except after the braves game one bar was closed and the other had zero interest in serving guests but the accommodations were awesome and front desk was very friendly

Location is what makes this place solid. Staff is very accommodating. It's a doubletree, if you are expecting the Ritz, you should probably reset your reality switch.

Good location for the battery have to pay for parking. Friendly staff.
Nearby activities: Restaurants close by and bars and entertainment.
Safety: Seems safe to walk around nice at the Battery area compared to Atlanta in general.

We got this hotel to be in distance to a Braves game. Perfect for that!
However for the price we paid for our suite:
- No fan in bathroom
- light over shower burned out
- couldn't open second living room balcony door, didn't try in the bedroom.
- safe didn't work
- No regular coffee in room ( only decaf) and only 2 little creams
- breakfast not included?? And it would've been FORTY DOLLARS to add it! What?! Outrageous.
We were very disappointed.

It's not inexpensive, but not ridiculous. Parking is extremely convenient, but it is $30 a day in addition to the room. The king suite is very nice. Separate living room with wet bar, mini fridge, couch, desk, and tv. Closed off from the bedroom (also w/tv) by double doors, the bathroom can be accessed by either the bedroom or the living room. There is also a safe for your valuables.
The staff, front desk, housekeeping, and dining employees are all very nice. The breakfast buffet has bacon, cooked the way I like it, thoroughly, but not burnt! Bacon for the win, plus other good stuff, but bacon for the win!
This review is based on two stays there. The first was one day at the end of July 2024, the second was three days at the end of August 2024.
This a great choice if you are doing things within the Battery, concerts at the Roxy, or a Braves game, or you are just hanging out. There's a little 'bodega' at the bottom of the hill where you can pick up some snacks or some adult beverages. The bodega doesn't sell ice, but the hotel does have ice machines.
Overall, this hotel is not only nice, but also convenient!

This was a very nice and clean hotel. It was a very fun area and I definitely recommend you stay in the area at least one time, the night life was great.

Perfect hotel to stay and catch a Braves game. And in the off-season, the battery is a nice place to wander around as well.

Not happy with the experience . Too Costly for a one night stay . Additional charges for parking. Service was not great . Rooms were not the best , bathroom light was not working. Front office did nothing and did not care when shared the stay experience. Breakfast got closed earlier than the promised time and it was not even complimentary. But special shout out to Aja who cared and was kind enough to allow a quick bite for my kid. Kindness and humanity still exist. So all stars to her .

You CANT CONTROL THE HEAT OR AIR IN YOUR ROOM IF YOU GET COLD OE HOT AT 3 AM YOU Have TO LET THEM CIME IN Your ROOM TI ADJUST ABSOLUTELY NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN IN ALL MY YEARS OF Travel. WILL NOT CONSIDER STAYING AT THAT LOCATION AGAIN AGAIN EVERYTHING ELSE IS NICE.
A month or so after posting this review I followed the response and called them I got one lady that asked why I was calling after a briefing she transferred me to a voicemail box I left a message letting them know I was calling them as per their request via my Google post no response for maybe 2 weeks and then it was the hotel that we had the issue with we already addressed with them and we feel this is a CORPORATE ISSUE AS A STOCKHOLDER I Don't MAKE SENSE OF THIS ISSUE, AND NOW THEY HAVE WASTED MY TIME WITH A GAME OF PHONE TAG AND NOT ADDRESSING IT AT THR CORP LEVEL.
WE ARE RETURNING THIS MONTH AND WILL BE STAYING THE SAME DISTANCE TO THR BALL PARK AND WILL BE CALLING FIRST TO MAKE SURE THEY AREN'T GONNA DO US DIRTY LIKE DOUBLE TREE SUITES AT THE BATTERY..
Heat and Air IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELF CONTROL IF YOU ARE ANEMIC LIKE ME YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE HEAT OR COLD WE ALL WOKE UP EICK FROM AIR BLASTING BEYOND OUT ABILITY TO SWITCH IT OFF!!!

Walkability: Food, music, bars, Desert everything with in just a few steps after exiting the hotel.
Food and drinks: Walburgers quick friendly and clean. We have gone more than once to their location and happy to go back.
