I do not know why this place is rated so low. I have no complaints and I was in and out in no time.I scheduled a vaccine here. I arrived on time and immediately checked in. The cashier immediately came over and gave me my shots. The parking lot was clean and I did not have any issues.

My family has used the CVS Clairmont Road pharmacy for a decade and absolutely love the willing helpfulness of the Pharmacists and each of the other pharmacy staff. We have gotten Covid and several other vaccines at this convenient location using the online scheduling available. There have never been any problems receiving medications. I think the corporation has, however, made a mistake by understaffing this pharmacy, as I can see with my own eyes, that in spite of their good natured service, these employees and the single pharmacist utilized, makes the most excellent service they deliver at the expense of the energies of those who work for the company. Only two people on duty at a time is too few at the busiest times to provide a Pharmacist, who often is also the one to give the injections to appointment holders and one other person service the drive through and the inside counter. In spite of this, they provide excellent and often complicated services to several surrounding communities with a personal touch. Thank you Clairmont Pharmacy!

This review is for the pharmacist at 3615 Clairmont Rd in Brookhaven, who is heads and shoulders above any other pharmacist I’ve worked with.

If you want a ghetto experience...go to this CVS. The only positive is the pharmacy. They seem to be on point with professionalism. However...don't go shopping in there. You'll be waiting to checkout with no cashier. This has happened on several occasions. Make it so bad...they have 2 checkout machines. Neither one worked last time I was there. I remember one visit...I was loading a card with a large amount of money so the manager had to approve it. I had to wait until his break was over. He was outside. I thought the customer comes first. No..No..not at this location! Get it together management.

Pretty straightforward, no complaints. I came in for one thing, I was greeted when I got there, and left very quickly.

Shame on CVS for managing this location so poorly! It is impossible to expect 1 pharmacist to handle everything - from being the cashier to administering vaccines to filling prescriptions. Every time I've been here, the pharmacist has been helpful, friendly, and clearly trying to do their best, but CVS has put them in an untenable position. They are simply required to do too much. Yes, this leads to LONG wait times for the customers, but it also makes me worry about safety. I'd prefer to have a pharmacist who has time to double check their work and make sure everything is right. When CVS expects 1 person to do the work of 5 people, it creates an environment ripe for errors, and that should concern all of their customers. Today, I went to get a prescription filled, and had to wait in line for 20 minutes just to drop off the Rx. When I finally got to the front of the line, the pharmacist told me they did not have it in stock. Frustrating, yes, but again I blame the management, not the pharmacist doing the best they can. So I drove to Publix, where the pharmacy was staffed with multiple people who were able to help me right away; the differences between the 2 pharmacies was stark. What CVS is doing at this location by drastically understaffing the pharmacy is wrong and dangerous. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

Drive thru is the slowest painful experience you can imagine. There is no reason why each car takes 20 mins. 3 cars in front of you? 1hr wait, everytime.

This pharmacy is terrible. The wait is absurd. It shouldn’t take 20 minutes for each person to be served.

This is the worst CVS ever! Pharmacy Service is slow, chaotic, not knowledgeable and has the most horrible customer service. A trip thru the drive thru will be a minimum of 20 minutes. Try to get an Rx filled and you will be lucky to see your Rx for days. I tried three times to call to find out what was wrong. Each time, after being on hold 10 minutes, the line goes dead!I literally transferred an Rx to a different location because mine had not been filled in 3 days. There were no problems with the Rx and it was filled in 10 minutes of my transferring the Rx. Of course, if you have Aetna insurance, you are required to use CVS because Aetna owns them!We need another Pharmacy Manager of this store because this one doesn't know what they are doing or how to manage!

I've been waiting for 30 minutes to pick up a prescription that was filled three days ago. The pharmacists are nice but the pharmacy is definitely understaffed

I dropped a prescription there this morning and they said it would be ready in one hour. I can't back 2 hours later and they said they didn't have anything on my daughter's name and asked me to call the doctor . I told them that I have dropped the prescription and the lady was too lazy to try looking for it , but guess what? They found the paper but then they said they would not have it until Monday or Tuesday ( today is Thursday) . I asked my prescription back and going to another pharmacy . Please CVS, train your staff to do a better job.

This used to be one of my preferred CVS pharmacies because it was closer to where I used to live. I switched to a different CVS pharmacy that was a 24 hour pharmacy and was closer to where I used to work, and this worked out better for me because I had crazy work hours, and no matter what time I got off of work I was able to pick my my meds after work. I have since moved on, with both the job and my residence, so I rarely come to this one any more. This CVS has a wrap around free parking lot which allows for more parking spaces than needed. As I entered the store, the employees at the front warmly greeted me Just about every time unless they were busy with a customer, and most of the time they still acknowledged me when they were busy. The pharmacy was kind of hit or miss when it came to having the meds ready and waiting when they said they were going to be ready. Most of the times that I came in to pick up my meds, they couldn't find my meds where they should have been stored (in bins, sorted by last name), so I had to wait while someone in the pharmacy physically looked through all of the prescriptions where it most likely should have been, handling every prescription one by one until they found mine, and sometimes I was picking up multiple meds. Also, this CVS wasn't always the cleanest or best organized, because there were times when the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned and items on the shelves obviously looked picked through and left that way.Avoid coming here during peak hours because customer lines, both in the pharmacy in the rear of the store and in the store area in the front, don't move very quickly due to employees not being quick or efficient.

I need to transfer my order to Walgreen pharmacy because of my insurance. They told me just get Walgreen call them and they would process the transfering. But then the lady in Walgreen called them twice and was on hold for an hour both times. She couldn't talk to anyone in CVS. This is ridiculous. Then I called them, and again, I was on hold for 30 minutes, no one answered. I decided to hang up and got my doctor office to send another order to Walgreen instead.
