These people do NOT do what the website says. AT ALL. They make up their own rules and requirements per person just to deny them. I met all of the requirements listed on their site. Every time I emailed them with a question all letters started out with "We cant assist you"Everywhere on the internet, including their own site, you must live in the Metro Atlanta COUNTIES!!! I met all of their requirements. And I was RUDELY told except for 55+ individuals, they must live in the city of metro atlanta. They wont say what they consider the metro Atlanta area. NO WHERE does say 55+ people have to live in an unspecified part of the city. of Atlanta She wound not even say what county. Just that i didn't live in a certain part of atlanta they would not assist. AGE DISCRIMINATION. Everyone else can live in the metro atlanta COUNTIES except 55+ ??? I asked for move in assistance in Dekalb county and was rudely denied because of my age.So if your 55+ and homeless. Do NOT contact these people. You will get your feelings hurt, ignored and definitely DENIED. How can they call themselves a ministry when they are treating older adults in dire need of help so cruel. God Bless

I really love these guys. Thank you so much. Last year, I had to start all over again. They helped me get my Driver's License and social security back and I was able to start working. I'm out of the shelter now and living in an apartment. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ you guys.

Very Helpful place. Have me what I needed plus a hot good meal while I waited. I was not expecting that. I Appreciate that!

Typed in the following keywords online: "homeless, meals, food" -- Crossroads was listed as a place to get food at 10:00am to 10:45 - Mon through Friday. First thing that pops up on Google. Two other homeless people directed me to go here in the mornings...was told I might even have a chance to drink coffee. Supposedly they serve a breakfast on Saturday too (or so it was claimed). The Safehouse (which I can confirm does help with a meal at 6pm, Mon-Fri) even has a print-out that lists here as a place to get food. The first day I went here, people were in line to check mail and walking out with sack lunches. Security announces: "We might have a few spots for food but we already have 25 people in here...just letting you all know." Somebody ahead of me explains, "Hm. Sounds like we aren't getting any food today" to their friend. -- There were roughly sixteen others ahead of me. Okay. No biggie, I'll just show up early tomorrow since I arrived too late. I waited for about an hour in the line for nothing but managed to find some fries in the garbage on the way back toward town. The second day of going here, I was the second person in line. After waiting for two hours, security asks what I was in line for. I replied, "For food." -- He says, "Oh, nah...we are here for a SERVICE. You're way to ahead of the line...just go to the very back of the line." -- O.o -- *yawn* -- just left, went around downtown eating out of the garbage again. The third day of going here, I was really smart. I wasn't too early in line...but I knew I wasn't too late. I was number sixteen in line. After about an hour of waiting, security announces, "Just so you all know...don't come and tell me you're here for food. We got no food."Me (Out Loud): "Hm. So...they don't help with food...?"Girl Behind Me: "...Yeah, he said they have no food. Didn't you just hear what he said?"Me: "....They were...giving out food the last two days?"Girl Behind Me: "Oh, well...it must of just happened to be donated that day or something.".....???I appreciate this place because I'm sure they help with a variety of resources. Just wish I didn't waste my time trying to eat in the morning by coming here and standing in a line for an hour plus. Almost as annoying as walking two hours to the Presbyterian Church to "eat breakfast on Sundays", only to be told, "we don't do that anymore." I wish all these documents I keep receiving would get updated as far as meals in Atlanta goes...but then again, I gave up on trying to get help in this town and will probably be hitch-hiking out soon. I don't even want to bother trying to ask for a birth certificate, I'll find my own way to get one as usual. I'm not stupid, just going where I was told to go.So if anybody is wondering: Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception gives out food in the mornings I believe. I know this because after I left Crossroads to go to the Catholic Shrine to get food...I was told the Catholic Shrine was out of food because they gave it all away.

Why do any of these organizations have phones but don’t answer them? That’s really the only issue I keep having with this place and others like it. Just call the phone company and tell them y’all don’t need the phone services since yall don’t use it ?

Crossroads has helped me in the past and I was told I could receive assistance once a year. I applied again and kept asking if I qualified and was told at the LAST MINUTE I didn’t qualify because they helped before. I was told I could receive help once a year but I’m guessing that was a lie? This is really frustrating. I was trying to prevent eviction and applied a month prior, was told my application was on hold then told to reapply. You had my information before but tells me at the last minute you can’t help? Smh

If I can give zero I would. Nobody ever answer the phone AT ALL! Pulled up at 11am and security don’t know how to talk just nod head that they not open.Side note: The person responding to the other reviews needs to learn to address professionally.

I called this morning to ask about rental assistance and all I got was attitude. Like what's the point in asking for assistance if you're going to be treated like you did something wrong because you need help? The lady I talked to was very rude. She pretty much made me feel like I was a scumbag for asking for help. It was very disheartening.

The service is good and the staff will help you get ID and birth certificate.. Marta Cards if you got a new job.. The ladies in kitchen can cook good.. I like the food so much..The light skinned case worker with the light color hair so professional.. She is good looking and I wish I could have her as a friend..This place will help you with your needs.. They do look out for homeless people also who need food and some type of support..Security Guard is cool but needs to be more nice to people. Sometimes I think he be too sassy and arrogant when he talk to people..The fat dark skinned guy in the kitchen is not friendly to many homeless people.
