Disclaimer: I have been going to both EAV and Grant Park since December 2024… so I felt it fair to post my review to both because it applies equally.
Oxfit, Ant, Lauren, all the coaches and all of the athletes are the best.
Having come from playing division one football to not exercising for 6 years, I was very nervous to be around others and doing things again.
I won’t lie, the workouts are tough and they will not feel great the first few weeks - but what does feel great is the uplifting support of the coaches and other athletes who are with you. I honestly feel like I’ve found community and people who are genuinely kind, thoughtful and inspiring to be around. There’s no where else I’d rather be at 6:30AM doing fitness relay races. Can’t wait to continue my journey!

I’ve only been a member for a little over a month and have felt so welcome in each class (I think I’ve attended every time slot😂). The community is so supportive and the program is challenging. I know it is making a difference in my health, mentally and physically. The past month has helped my mental health in ways I didn't expect, I mean I know exercise is good for the whole body and mind, but I think it's the community that has been most impactful. Thank you!!

OxFit is great. I saw more results in my first 6 weeks here than I did in 4 years of running. The coaches are friendly and knowledgeable, and I get a great workout every time I come.

I 💙OxFit. Many fitness cultures can be tricky to navigate. Some can be standoffish in their vibes or hard to connect with, especially in the beginning. Not OxFit. The owners, the coaches, and its members go out of their way to make certain you feel welcome without overdoing it at 5:30 am. The programming is amazing. The coaches care. They push you to work harder but also respect the limitations that pre-existing injuries can create. The equipment is top notch. It’s immaculate, especially for all the sweat making on a regular basis. I’m so grateful I transitioned from where I was. It was great but I feel at home here.

OxFit is a great gym and strong community that will help you challenge your self to become stronger! The staff will event modify workouts to help folks with preexisting injuries participate without causing further harm to themselves.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at OxFit. I have always felt welcomed by the staff and the supportive community. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, motivating, and always make sure everyone feels included and challenged.
The workouts are intense but incredibly effective, and the variety keeps things interesting. I have seen significant improvements in my strengths, endurance, and overall fitness since joining OxFit.

Love the moms class at 8:15! This is a welcoming community with challenging workouts that test what I'm capable of while making me stronger. After having 2 kids, I felt like I had a brand new body and this has been such a great gym to get back to fitness in my postpartum journey. The options for scaling are great and I appreciate the baseline/testing weeks to be able to measure improvement over time.

OxFit has been an amazing community for me. I was a little thrown off on my first day when we were asked to go around and learn everyone’s name and I had never been to a gym like that. However I learned to love it and everyone is so genuinely friendly here. The workouts are fun and can be scaled hard or easy, and the coaches are always full of energy! I have made some great friends within my time here and gotten to participate in out of gym activities with everyone.

As someone who’s always been a little intimidated by weight lifting, OxFit Moms classes have been a game changer! The community is so welcoming and the workouts are challenging. In a matter of a few months, I noticed myself much stronger and more energized to run after my two young kids on the playground and even surprised them (and myself!!) with being able to do the monkey bars!

I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Oxfit Grant Park! I took my first class through classpass and immediately felt at home after the first workout! The coaches were all so friendly, especially Savannah and Lauren! They are always so motivating and make all the workouts so fun!! I also love how this gym is for all fitness levels, so it made me feel really comfortable! If you want a fun, safe gym with amazing coaches- this is your gym!

Great coaches and atmosphere make OxFit approachable for anyone looking to get/stay fit. Can’t say enough about the community and other OxFit members; everyone I’ve met is encouraging and wants to get to know you, which goes a long way. Can’t recommend enough!

Great gym for people who like working out in groups. Expect supportive environment. Expect workouts to be based on a rotation of different stations. Workouts are scaled so can accommodate anyone.
