From Scotttrade to TD Ameritrade, Schwab by far has been the worse. Delayed and miss handled a wire transfer. Worse customer service ever. Time to move my balances. Hope they don't make more mistakes.

I had a wonderful experience with Charles Schwab during the transition from TD Ameritrade. Any transition is inconvenient but Matthew Davis from Charles Schwab made it much easier. He not only called me to make sure that I had been successful in logging onto the new platform but he patiently walked me through the new set-up and features of Charles Schwab. Five stars for great customer service.

Mr. Matt Wilson helped me setup my account today over the phone and was very informative, professional, and settling in his assistance. His navigational instructions over the phone was precise and accurate as to what I was seeing to setup an electronic account with paper statements. Hard to find good customer service now a days and I appreciated his positive energy.

They have no regard for their customers. I had 10 short calls in the money, 5 short puts that were in the money and 300 shares long of the underlying. About 30 minutes before options expiration, I logged into my accout to close out 5 of the short calls (I really only needed to close out 2 but I didnt want all of my shares called away), I put in a limit order to close out 5 of the calls, and was waiting for it to execute . It would have executed but somebody at Schwab logged into my account, cancelled my order and put a market order to close out all 10 in the money short calls. Their order got executed at a terrible price. They also closed out the 5 put options with a market order and the trade went through at a horrendous price. I ended up paying $2k in time premiums that would have disappeared in 20 minutes. They literally threw $2k of my money away. They could have placed limit orders and at least try to get me a decent price. What infuriates me was I was logged into my account and I was closing things out and they cancelled my order. They could have at least called or texted me but they did not. They also closed out some short put options on a different security that was 10 points out of the money and expiring in 20 minutes. Absolutely no reason to close out short options that are expiring in 20 minutes. They have no regard for their customers money.

Yesterday I walked in and made an appointment with Chris Metzger for this morning at 9am. The staff Sina at the front desk was nice and friendly. I know I supposed to talk to a Chris something but I just could not remember the last name. Sina helped me to figure that out which was good. My appointment with Chris Metzger was this morning. Upon walking in, Chris was already walking out of his office and greeted me. I have never meet him before, I guess he figured out I would be his first client he was seeing this early cold morning. I have been procrastinating to come to Charles Schwab. Not like Charles Schwab is bad, in fact I heard good things about Charles Schwab and particularly this branch. Chris was the one I should see to get help, so I was told. I am just clueless about anything investment and to me, that's like Greek to me and I have no idea and no interest in that "language". Then again I have to do what I need to do. That's life, isn't it? Chris led me to his office and I was dreading this session. I thought it was going to be a painful and boring morning for me. Turned out, it was not too bad at all. I am pretty sure Chris' personality and approach helped. He was cheery, helpful and extremely patient with me. And yes, I told him I am clueless about anything that has to do with investing and I really was not looking forward to my session with him. No, I did not say it in a mean way. I actually put it across very pleasantly. Please, I do have my manners ;-) He set up a Charles Schwab account for me, went through and explained some materials and did not make anything too complicated for me. Chris also told me I could contact him anytime if I have any questions. At the end of the session, I supposed to provide him some information and I told him I could drop by before the end of the day to pass it to him. While driving in the crazy Friday rush hour traffic, Chris called and informed me he was about to go into a meeting. I told him no problem, I would leave the information at the front desk for him. I am definitely happy to recommend Chris Metzger to anyone who is interested in investment services at Charles Schwab.

DONT EVER COME HERE. BEWARE OF BOOT
My wife and I recently moved from new york to Atlanta. We attemped to come to the buckhead branch to inquire about rolling over my wife's 401k. I walked under 10 feet from my car to meet my wife and walk to the branch. On my way to enter, I noticed my car was booted. It was done in under a minute. After explaining to the man who booted my car that I was going into Charles Schwab, he said he couldnt do anything but take my mtney and take the boot off. I had to pay $75 to get it unbooted. I wasnt aware that the branch was closed. There were no signs posting the hours. Dont EVER go here. They refused to take ownership of my experience and passed me to the building manager. No refund was given and I was further alienated by the company that booted the car. No building manager ever called me. Worst customer experience ever.
