Each experience is different. There are a lot of factors that come I to play with adopting an animal.It was just not a good fit is all.

Amazing program and great folks involved. If you are looking to adopt, they have some really sweet pups (and already trained as an extra bonus). If you aren't looking to adopt, there are great opportunities to volunteer as well.

As a Certified Humane Education Specialist, I cannot express the importance of the impact of these types of programs; for the benefit of the incarcerated (or newly released), the animals receiving care and training, and for humanity itself. I highly recommend your supporting this program.

From CANINE CELLMATES
Canine CellMates is a jail dogs program, operating out of Fulton County Jail since 2013.
We recently took over a building, and will be expanding our mission with the addition of a diversion program working with the District Attorney's office. This innovate and unique approach to rehabilitation will incorporate working with rescue dogs, and life-changing curriculum, with the goal being to facilitate positive change, and reduce the possibility of a return to incarceration.
