I wish I had looked up these Yelp reviews before using this service. They were absolutely horrible. They damaged my furniture, scratched up the walls of my new home amd the owner is very unprofessional. The movers were subpar. The level of service was less than I have ever experienced. I would not recommend them to move anything for me. The owner was supposed to call me about the damages and I have yet to hear from him. The delivery took place on Saturday, August 21, 2020.

I had a 64 gun safe on its back in my garage... three men came and moved it exactly where I wanted it with no damages whatsoever.... very smart... strong... and nice gentlemen... thanks again

Fast, reliable, and ‘easy to work with‘ movers from Atlanta to Marietta. The team showed up on time, were super friendly and accommodating as we moved. They handled even our largest items with care. We liked their service so much we hired them again for a separate moving job shortly after the first. In terms of price, value and service, they are the best moving company in Atlanta.

I will NEVER EVER use or recommend this moving company to anyone! This man has unprofessional movers who are lazy, slack off and take forever to move you. I hired him to move me on 3/24/19 and it took them over 9 hours to move me. I paid him over $1200!!! They made two trips and between each trip, 3 of his workers kept disappearing and showing up an hour later which prolonged the time it took to move my things. I had everything labeled for every room and they began to drop my things where ever they felt like.

If I could leave this review without a star, I would. I was extremely disappointed in my experience with Burden Movers. I asked questions regarding price when scheduling the move and was given a completely different price at the completion of the job, which shouldn't even be called that. The movers were late after the owner specifically asked if I wanted them to come earlier than the time I originally gave, which I thought would have been perfect. Clearly not! I asked what methods of payment were accepted and was told cash, check or card. We were ready to pay with a card thinking in this day of technology, surely there would be a way to complete this transaction electronically. I was wrong. We had to go and get cash. And the icing on the cake was that my furniture was damaged due to the movers not wrapping the furniture properly from beginning to end. I was ensured that the movers would have the plastic and other tools to protect my furniture during this move.

Professional, honest, courteous! These movers took the time to handle our items with care. They wrapped the pictures and furniture with great speed and care. No damages, scratches, or water damage. Highly recommend!

This company will leave you with surprises in the calculated charges. Get an estimate quote in writing, or else you'll end up being overcharged. This is a company that charges for travel FROM their facility TO your home, and again when you are moving to your new destination.

I scheduled my move with Burden over a week ahead of time. Mr. Burden answered when I called and seemed a bit distracted, but he assured me he had my information and my move was scheduled. I even said, don’t forget about me, before we hung up and he assured me I was on his calendar. I called the Thursday before my move and Mr. Burden again assured me he’d be at my house at 8:00 Saturday morning. I’m accustomed to receiving a call when the company is en route, so when I didn’t

Absolutely a nightmare. Could not fit all possessions on vehicles, damaged a large percentage of the haul, lost hardware to piano so it could not be placed upright. Promised to fix problem and never heard back after exiting. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!!!!!
