They take amazing care of my son. Everybody know he’s name and it is such great atmosphere. I would never consider taking my son out of Briarcliff day care

Wonderful daycare! Both of my children attended this Briarcliff location since they were 3mo old with my son just graduating to PreK. After several years of care, we only recently switched as the location became no longer convenient.Ms. Jasmin runs the center. She knows every child well, often helping out across the rooms, and will work with you to make sure your child is getting the care they need. They have an app that gives you updates throughout the day with pictures (my favorite part) that gives peace of mind your child is thriving. I also liked that the backyard area that they get to play is large compared to other daycares and feels more like being at home/local park.Ms Cynthia (3s & up class) is an angel on this earth! My son's favorite teacher and she could not have prepped him better for PreK (she is a former PreK teacher so she knows what they need to know and how to teach them) and, if not more importantly, I most appreciated her approach to teaching social/emotional skills. She truly loves all the kids in her class. The price here was by far the best in the area and I always felt comfort that my children were safe and loved whenever I dropped them off. They also do a few "water days" in the summer where the kids wear their swimsuits that my children particularly enjoyed. Great place!

Our daughter started at Briarcliff Day Care (Belle Isle location) at 12 weeks old and our experience has far exceeded expectations. Ms. Jasmin (Onsite Director) is WONDERFUL - so kind, understanding and present. The entire staff is amazing - you can tell everyone is there for the right reasons and it shows. It's a small and homey environment that treats you like family. We get constant daily updates and pictures through the app which makes such a difference as a first time mom! Highly recommend.

Briarcliff Daycare is amazing. Our daughter has attended for 1 year and this is exactly what we were looking for in care for our toddler. Our daughter has some developmental delays and all the big corporate centers would not work with us due to her being a late walker. We had previously been at a Bright Horizon pre-covid. Hands down, this center far exceeded my expectations. They work with each child individually despite having larger ratios. During covid, the cleanliness was incredible. Compared to the corporate that had a 20 page manual that I saw non of the policies followed (teachers too busy!), I can safely say what management tells you will happen will and rules are followed. Turnover has been tough in this industry but Ms Jasmin the director is always the friendly same face to help fill in gaps. Jasmin is incredible and genuinely cares about the children. All of the teachers have been true gems that love children in their heart and soul. I get pictures daily on the app, which I love. The food is prepared in house and is very healthy. My daughter has an egg allergy and they take all allergies very seriously. The daycare is in an older home, but don't let that fool you. The center is amazing inside and the playground is great. We love this school.

Communication regarding infectious diseases is severly lacking to the point to where a family member was said goodbye to forever. When the beginning of a stomach bug outbreak took place, as a father, I would want to know there is something going on at the site, even when my child is not there. Despite having my child one as of the first to catch the stomach bug, there was no communication from Executive Directors informing parents at all and thus seemingly encouraging parents to get their kids sick and take it home with them. They claimed to have put up signs around the site but what good does that do? Afterwards, I offered to help strategize ways to improve communication; however, the idea was completely shrugged off and any involvement was denied. Otherwise, new-born room was great.

Our kids stayed for a few months and they LOVED it. We wanted to stay longer because all the teachers were so great and also the atmosphere. If we are back in Atlanta, we would love to visit again for sure.

My daughter was only there for two months in the infant room before we switched to a more conveniently located daycare, but I was very happy with BDC. If it were located closer to our home we would have definitely kept her there.

Very caring, patient staff in spite of my kiddo's separation anxiety, and very reasonable rates, given the proximity to Emory and CDC. Willing to learn and make accommodations to the best of their ability for sensory processing disorders -- Ms. Tanya had independently started taking notes and brought concerns to us. Transparent in posting about contagious illness, with a solid hand-washing upon entry policy. They have monthly date nights, and usually a themed event for parent visits on a near-monthly basis. My not-so-little guy has outgrown them, but maybe yours hasn't. :)

My daughter was at this daycare since she was 3 months old to 3 years of age. We moved her almost a year ago because I moved to another job in a different area, but I was happy with the treatment and care she received. She was always a very happy kid and loved Ms. Tonya and her classmates. The staff always treated us with respect. Yes, there was some improvement that needed-- just like every were else-- to be made but overall it was a good place for her. Also, compared to other daycares, this one was the best in the area and the cheapest. They also have a relatively new location at North Druid Hills. The installations are bigger and newer, so try that one if the Belle Isle location doesn't work for you.

Management is terrible and the teachers are average. Some of the teachers are super amazing, but others not so much. There is a constant change of teachers without notification to parents, nor clear process of screening them. Management is unprofessional and unconsidered. The management and owner needs to learn how to convey information to parents, without taking controlling and insulting actions. Primary manager and owner takes leave of 3 months at a time. Not a great environment for your kids.

I've taken my son here since he was 6-months old. Not too sure about the other negative posting, but the teachers are incredible and very caring and pay a lot of attention to my son and his needs. They prices are great especially in comparison to my son's old daycare which was much more expensive and I did not like the teachers. Briarcliff Day Care is GREAT and so are the instructors. All the food is organic and the day care is always very clean!
