This place seems to only think you're a valuable and worthwhile customer if you bring a clock or watch that is rare or expensive. If you're a regular watch person, you'll be treated as a nuisance even if you go in while the place is empty. We asked a simple question about the repair he did so we could understand what to do if the issue arised again, and instead of answering it the man got upset and undid the work and kicked us out of the store because apparently we questioned his expertise.

If you enjoy being made to feel like you are bothering or annoying someone, by all means go to Bowers watch and clock and interact with Michael, he is the poster child for a sour puss. His brother is less foul but I wouldn't drive 40 miles again (like I did) to be treated so poorly. If you hate what you do that much, get out of the business.

If you have an older watch or clock there is nowhere else that you should take it. These guys know what they are doing - they are a part of a dying breed of genuine artisans, who run a generational business, who charge a fair price for their (excellent) work.

Restored a 100+ year old clock very quickly. Gave two repair and pricing options. The final cost was exactly as estimated. Both men running the shop were kind and thorough, and took time to discuss the options, and show me how to operate the repaired clock. Thank you!
