Lovely social cause and a great way to volunteer.
I had the pleasure to discover more about Books for Africa initiative and the great people behind it. I also volunteered to help pack the books that will be sent to Africa.
A great feeling to know your efforts are helping others across the globe.
If you feel that you want to give back to the society, this is a great volunteering activity.

I spent a few hours volunteering to sort at Books for Africa with several coworkers. I was immediately blown away by Jessie's depth of knowledge, personal statement, and storytelling skills. He is such a gem! I encourage you to either support Books for Africa through corporate book donation or pop in for a few hours and sort books. One of my coworkers and I are definitely coming back with our teenagers and helping out again, as we are all book worms; and it was satisfying to see so many lovely books going to children who will undoubtedly enjoy them!

This is a great volunteer opportunity for groups or for individuals. And you can actually walk in and volunteer the same day. The orientation is very helpful and you feel accomplished at the end.

My first time Volunteering with Books for Africa was amazing! As i've entered my 20's recently - many books i came across brought back soo many memories from my younger age :)). I also love how they have free books available for volunteers!! Absolutely will go again.. and again :))
