Today marked my first visit to Barry's, and I must admit, I'm eagerly anticipating my next one. The individuals at the front desk greeted me with exceptional friendliness and cheer, extending a warm welcome and even presenting me with an introductory card. I participated in the 6:10 AM Run x Lift Full Body - Lower Focus class with Ahmad J. It was truly an invigorating experience, injecting a sense of excitement into my usual workout routine. I appreciated Ahmad's personalized approach, as he addressed each participant by name and provided motivation to all. The eclectic music selection and the ambiance created by the lighting added to the overall experience. I left the class feeling thoroughly exhausted and with a broken nail. Pros: 1. There is an abundance of combination lockers available. 2. The class consistently begins on time. 3. The instructor infuses the class with enthusiasm and a personal touch. 4. You have the option to purchase smoothies and other beverages. 5. The location is outstanding. 6. Whatever you need to referesh after a workout - Oribe face, hair, and bodycare, hair ties, gum, bags for post workout clothes, and etc. 7. Sells branded Lululemon and Nike apparel Cons: 1. The smoothies come at a relatively higher price. 2. The instructor does not offer form corrections. 3. Women's locker room only has 4 showers.

I just left Shane's class and it was great. I hadn't worked out in years and did not know what to expect. I was met by a very friendly worker at the front who gave me a quick tour of the building and explained what I would need to know about the class. Shane was a motivating instructor, and I left feeling exhausted but proud. I would definitely attend another class. Oh! Before I left I got a drink from the smoothie bar. It was pretty good. I went to a 12:30 p.m. class so it did not feel crowded.

Great amenities, fun class. Friendly stuff. Clean equipment in good condition.Would appreciate if instruction for parking is more clear for the first timers.I prefer Lifetime GTX/orange theory in terms some details of the class because instead of prescribing the speed of running, they follow on the Zone of heart rate.

I love Barry! I live in a different Barry's market and have found the ATL instructors to be SUPER challenging but in the best way. If you're looking for a good grind, this studio is for you!

I genuinely love Barry's! And I'll admit I've been pushing off coming here because I've heard of it being a "Boot camp" and a lot of running and I hate running but I thoroughly enjoyed my class this morning! I have read some reviews and I think everyone should at least try it out and see if it's for you. I had no problem as a first timer, the front desk was very welcoming and friendly and gave out instructions extremely well and Justin, our instructor was also tough yet really instructed us in class very well knowing we had some newbies. I did an upper workout class and it was half treadmill and half weight training and while it's dark in the room it's really energizing and you REALLY get a great workout for. Shot bod! My only downside is parking, but if you park in the structure you get two hours free. I parked across the street and paid but it was simpler for me. They also have massive lockers, workout wear and a smoothie bar which is perfect after class. Barry's might be my new favorite studio!

As a true lover of all things fitness I love dropping into fitness classes when traveling. I attend Barry's classes fairly regularly in different Bay Area ( California ) locations. The music at this class was not timed with intervals ( Sunday night slow jams playing during spring intervals). The weight suggestions didn't seem to line up with the movements. Was hoping this class would help me sell me on Atlanta but was very disappointed

Five stars for a kick-ass workout with friends, friendly staff, convenient location, and overall great vibes...In ATL for a girls-weekend and staying just blocks away at the nearby Thompson Buckhead, we walked over on Friday morning for a 50 minute Run X LIFT Total Body class with Chloe B. The class was far from packed, which made it more enjoyable. Chloe's queues and music were spot on and challenging without pushing us so hard that we thought we would puke. We all felt great afterwards and were just the right amount of sore the next day.Huge shout-out to the staff for educating my friend that had never been to Barry's before on how the red room and treadmills work and how the class was set-up with switching from tread to floor to tread to floor... Special kudos to Adi working the smoothie bar who was super sweet and chatty and gave us all kinds of local recs to look into during our visit. If you find yourself in the area looking for a great workout, look no further than Barry's!

The best way to describe Barry’s is chaotic energy. I tried this workout for the first time and am personally not a fan for several reasons. First, I signed up for a class with a group, but they had difficulty finding my class registration when I went to check-in. Most of us with the group were new to Barry’s and I found it disappointing that there was no proper introduction to the studio or class format. The room is so dark and music is incredibly loud, so the lack of introduction by the instructor made it difficult to keep track of what was going on. I didn’t even realize when we were transitioning from the floor back to the tread because no one explained the class flow. Also, since the instructor is leading a treadmill group and floor group at the same time, it’s hard to follow the right instructions especially with the loud music. There were no modifications provided for the tread or floor. I run regularly, albeit not on a treadmill, and fell during a high speed sprint, badly skinning both of my knees. The instructor barely checked on me then or throughout the workout. I wasn’t the only one who struggled either. Finally, there was no correction to form for the floor workout or guidance given as to number of reps. This caused more confusion and makes for high injury potential, as illustrated. Barry’s is honestly such an overrated and impersonal workout. It felt totally corporate and not even like a good workout to be worth the astronomical price. I don’t think I’ll be back or recommend Barry’s to others especially with plenty of other better HIIT studios in the area like Bach, The Training Room, etc.

I like the intensity of the workouts. However, the instructors do not correct form. I saw a lot of people with bad form, and the potential for injuries really worries me.
