Not sure what's happening but it seems dangerous and is within 1000ft of peoples homes and the railroad.

This isn't a place you come and get your tanks filled. They don't sell tanks either. It's not for the general public.

We have had AmeriGas for a while now, but all of sudden they changed our delivery schedule. Now I'm out of gas. I am a restaurant who relies on the propane. I can't open my restaurant because of there lack of delivery. They are causing me to lose business. Called and was told we would get a delivery this morning. No one has shown up and keep getting the run around. Not good business! Guess I'll start shopping around for another propane company.

I was unable to get an estimate online for a propane tank installation because I have an all electric home and would not meet their minimum annual usage requirement. So I called the number that was given and explained my circumstances, I was told that was pretty normal and all that was needed was a “site survey” to make sure I could have a tank installed. The representative on the phone was unable to set up the appointment for this site survey because of technical issues, but stated that I would receive a call within 48 hours to set this appointment up. I waited 2 days, did not hear from anyone. I called back and spoke with my original representative. She was able to pull up my account and showed there was already an appointment scheduled that I was unaware of. She canceled the appointment and at this point was able to schedule an appointment that I could make. However, a few days prior I received a phone call stating that they couldn’t make that appointment and gave me another appointment, that I made work. At this point, no one had made any mention of charging a $70 “service fee” to perform a 5 minute “site survey” to say, yes you can in fact have a propane tank installed, and how much it would cost. I received notice of this $70 service fee in the mail and called to get clarification on it. Because I work in the service industry and it’s not standard practice to charge a fee to provide an estimate, BUT each company is different. While on the phone trying to get clarification I was disconnected 3 times, but before being disconnected on one of the calls I found out there was already another appointment scheduled to install the propane tank on 6/18 that my wife and I never agreed to. I was able to cancel this appointment. I was set up for an area manager to call me back to “dispute” the service fee, and she didn’t care about anything I had to say. The only thing she could say was “I can’t see any of that, I see where you had an appointment today to install a tank and that was cancelled, but everything else would have been set up through a call center.” So… that’s the worst $70 I will ever spend.
