Be knowledgeable of Uhual policy or this location will finesse your intelligence and money. BEWARE!

Kwania was AMAZING!! She was so knowledgeable with showing us different examples of sofas to meet our needs and the room dimensions. In the end, she recommended something that we were unsure about because they did not have it in store for us to sit on. We went to Ashley furniture and sat on something nearly exactly the same and loved it. The price was BY FAR better at Kwania’s place.
She was flexible on the delivery date and everything (accommodating with late day delivery). The delivery crew did well with unpackaging and setting up the new sofa!! It is great. Thanks so much for being so patient, Kwania!!

Horrible customer service . Do not be fooled by the fake niceness in the beginning , those are simply sales tactics . The store is horribly organized for starters . Long story short , Kwania sold me a box spring that she knew was extremely too high for the bed and mattress I purchased . I immediately sent it back with her movers. She was nasty and rude because I chose to send it back . Two weeks went by and I never received a refund . I had to reach out to her and she basically tried to get over and negotiate what she would refund . She then proceeded to add an additional 100$ to my original order to subtract from what she owed me in refund . my order was paid in full after what ever discount or sale had already been given . So she should not have subtracted anything additional from my refund . She also lied and tried to manipulate me on what I paid for the box spring . She only refunded me 60$ and she doesn’t even have box springs that cheap . I let her have it because obviously she needed it more than me . I will never shop with her again nor send any business her way .

IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO I WOULD!!! The older black lady with the salt and pepper hair (THE OWNER) Is nasty and rude ! Rented a UHAUL told her daughter I was moving a washer and dryer I get all the way to my storage unit and the truck doesn’t have a ramp! Had to drive all the way back to get a different truck to only get a truck with the oil light in that sounded like the motor was about blow ! Took it back and the owner was so rude and nasty about it all ! Instead of apologizing for the miscommunication ! She blamed the customer for not saying she needed a ramp I mean she said she was moving a washer and dryer ! Ok but who knew that all uhauls don’t have a ramp???? Just HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!!
SHE REPLIES TO THIS COMMENT WITH HOW THINGS SHOULD HAVE BEEN BUT WASNT! SHE EVEN TOLD ME NOT TO COME BACK ! FORTUNATELY I WOULD NEVER ESPECIALLY BEING SPOKEN TO IN THE TONE THAT she spoke TO US IN! And wouldn’t after being treated the way we were! PEOPLE DO NOT LIKE OWNING THEIR WRONG DOING! The BOTTOM LIKE IS THE OWNER WAS RUDE, NASTY, DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL and didn’t conduct business as a business woman!

This was by far the worst uhaul experience I've ever had. And I move! I had a reservation for 11am. I called and let the store know I was running late about an hour after my appointment time. I reserved the truck for 6 hours. They associate let me know my truck was rented to someone else. I was shocked to learn that after 30 mins they give your truck to someone else. I do not recall this from the contract. I was then told that I would have a truck when I retired as they had a ready truck that just needed air in the tire. And by the time I arrive it would be ready. Upon arrival, as you can imagine, it was not available. I waited time for this air to be added to the tire hearing from the owner that it would be ready in minutes. Soon another couple came in and stated they had an 11:30 am reservation and they were also told their truck was rented to another. Seems this is common practice for this place, sending reservations with no inventory. After several minutes in the store waiting I ask how long air takes and a man arrives stating the tire came off the rim and air was unable to be put in. The owner then tells me I would need to go somewhere to find a new rental. The younger associate saw my face and offered to help me find another location. While helping me for several minutes a uhaul is returned and they are able to put me in the truck. The entire time I was quite and respectful amid my frustrations and hours spent and the associate thanked me for being so calm. She said it helped. I have work customer service so I know that it doesn't help when your customer is loud and frustrated when you were just trying to accommodate them as best you can. She offer me a $.59/mile rate instead of the $.99. I was appreciative. Upon returning the truck that evening is when I had to deal with the less than pleasant owner of the location. She was the mother of the associate I have been working with. She sent me a receipt with the incorrect pricing. I called the store and let her know the rate her daughter gave me and she said she would adjust it. I asked for an updated receipt to be sent. She then calls me back and questions the rate that her daughter gave me. She asked me to restate the rate, which I did, then I hear her in the background ask her daughter about the rate. She then begins talking to me again and I am thinking she is still talking to her daughter and she snaps at me questioning the rate. It was also confusing and unprofessional. If nothing else they should've just given me the rate for my inconvenience and for their lack of organization. The owner finally says that she would honor the rate her daughter gave me. She the calls me back again and states that U-Haul would never allow that rate and she would have to give me the difference out of her pocket. God knows how that works... Meaning I probably will never get the difference back. But I did states her on the phone that I didn't appreciate how she was handling or speaking to me. All I can say is never go to this location. The place is not professional and the owner is just not nice. I would never give her my money again nor do business or recommend her to anyone.

I just started a financing contract with the purchasing of a very price friendly but with good quality dining room table. The service this far has been amazing. The delivery was on time. The assembly of the furniture piece was done in a time manner. The associates was very respect with in the the duration of the process. Great customer service from the representativein the store to the delivery team. This is a great company that I plan to do more business with and hope to bring them more business from referral. Thank you Affordable furniture and appliances.
