I can't speak for their actual services since I've never worked with them. However, I can tell you that they are aggressive with their marketing. They got ahold of my email account somehow and will not stop spamming us. Very annoying and a weak business model if that's how they intent on winning clients. Brute force is not always the best option. I didn't want to give them 1 star because I know how much that can hurt a business with such low Google Reviews, but a 3 should wake them up and improve their process...

Acuity is a sham of an accounting company. Let me save you thousands of dollars and tell you an honest experience:- On the bookkeeping side, they went an entire year doing our books completely wrong, only to discover this when our assigned controller left the company. We had to redo all the books (mostly at our expense).- On the filing side, they had everything they needed to file our federal + state taxes on time. They told us we wouldn't even need to file for an extension, as that's how close we were. Then we did need to file an extension, then they waited till the last few hours of the deadline to file. They did not make the payments however, so we ended up with $30,000 worth of penalties due to their error.The company takes ZERO accountability, they are absolutely clueless and we've had to correct their work numerous times. They are not cheap either and try to charge you at every turn.Simply put - run far away.

Sadly, I did not have the same experience as most of the other reviewers. My assigned controller seemed to be on vacation monthly because she was always "just getting back to work" when promising to work on my system. After eight months, (and still not having a functioning system in Xero) I terminated the engagement.

I have used Acuity for my company since it launched in the 2000s. Acuity knows startups. We used their fractional CFO & controller services as well as their A/P and fixed-fee bookkeeping, and were very pleased with the level of service and results. Do not do business with this company. This company has spammed me five times on a private email address which I did not provide to them. When I asked "Clay Bowen" how he got my email address, he ignored my email. Spammers should not be awarded with customers, because their marketing practices are illegitimate and they are not responsible internet citizens.
