I never leave reviews, but I had to given the fact that Allied Irish Moving just helped me accomplish the feat of a lifetime! For work I needed to ship large items via freight from an unorganized client. Allan helped me figure out what I needed to do to get the items to California, picked them up from my client and put in hard work to retrieve the items. Speed crated several items and had them all ready for pick up the next day. My shipment is now ahead of schedule and Allan is making me look like a hero at work! Thank you Allied Irish!

I had a great experience using allied. Delivered on time, professional and friendly. Cost is resendable. My belonging got delivered on the same day despite long drive. Very nice people to talk and to deal with. I strongly recommend them.

They charged me 3x the original quote and tried charging me double that on top of that. They're using a tag team system where the guy who gives you the quote is not the guy sending the bills, you don't get a final written quote only an estimate. Two of their employees told me this is their normal business operations, it's a bait and switch system where you're held hostage because they have your belongings in your truck and won't release them unless you pay more.When they realized most things were going into storage while I built a home, and not being immediately unpacked, they then stole at least $5000 in goods as well.Was also sexually harassed including unwanted touching and propositioning by one of the partners, extensively, to where I had to ask one of his employees to stay in the room with me to stop the groping. Was also advised he does this to many female clients.These people are thieves and creepy af, don't do business with them.Edit: Make sure to read the "not recommended reviews." Yelp will take payment from companies to remove low reviews, but they don't remove them from their site. Read those and you'll see more than 20 more 1 star reviews sharing similar stories.Edit for Owner's Response: Yes Doug, I did retain Allied and I have the payments to prove it. Stop lying. As for 'not our billing practices,' I'm not the first reviewer to report your "bait and switch." Alan has correspondence from me about the pricing and about your other employee's groping and unwanted constant sexual advances.... What kind of owner doesn't know that's going on?
