I’ve had some dope finds here, but some of the staff are uninformed about their own policies. I went to sell around 6 and spoke to two employees at the counter. I was told to pick up my stuff before 7 or it would be donated (who even does that). After confirming what the guy said, I left and came back before 7 just for them to say it’s not actually ready. Rushed back for nothing and when I confronted the employee about this he tried to double back and say something completely different that didn’t even make sense and he looked out of it too. The security is always cool tho.

If a zero star rating was an option, I’d rate this 2nd Street as such. The one star is only because of the security guard and his courtesy and customer service. The counter sales persons hold personal conversations, play around the register as if they are children. While awaiting their review of my items. The young lady with blue braids toyed with my process not once but TWICE. Instead of completing my process she jumped to the aide of two Caucasian women and dropped my items immediately. It really seemed as if my business wasn’t as important as theirs, nor was my time as important. This is sad and feels very discriminatory. 2nd Street should reconsider their staying at this particular location. I’m sure the policy of intake. The manger the entire situation and took it upon herself to apologize oh the associates behavior. I do appreciate her attention and care in the matter.

This used to be my favorite store but they started accusing me of switching tags when I never switched tags and I don't know how I was switch tags when they have a stable gun but this usually one of my first store but now I can't go back cause they think i switched tags I don't know if it's because my skin color or anything but the customer service really bad. They didn't show me the video they said they had of me switching tags, they even sold me a fake hell star shirt for $70. i didn't know it was fake i thought it was real cause i thought they check before buying anything from people.but there's other places to buy better prices. They didn't show me anything proof or anything i was being nice asking to see cause i never switched tags in any store so i don't know why they accusing me of anything without proof. i'm reasoning for a one star i would stay far away from 2nd street bad service and fake stuff.....

So I have been to this store twice. I was trying to get rid of alot of boxes of brand new clothes that I got from my brother. Who is a famous independent rapper by the name of Dizzy Wright. He has quite a few sponsorships to quite a few clothing brands. So he looks out for us. Every now and then. So the first time that I went. I had this nice young lady. Who took the time to really go through all my clothes and Priced it really well. I was very excited about this visit. Then I take the rest of the clothes just the a few days ago. They had this tall light skin guy with short hair. It seem like he was new to me. Because he under bought me so crucial for some really good clothes that was brand new and in highly great condition. He didn't even look at the clothes and thoroughly check them. He just counted how many pieces of clothes I had. But he did look at a Levis fatigue parka jacket that I brought in and he still under bid me.I used to come to this location. When it was Buffalo Exchange. Everybody that knew me. When I first walked through the door. They couldn't wait to see. What I had because they always told me. That I bring alot of really cool stuff and Encourage me to bring more. Because every piece of clothes that I bring. It hits the rack and it sells. So I was very upset with this second visit. It's like even though I get this stuff from my famous brother for free. Doesn't mean that I want to be under bought for them. If that's the case. I would just take it to the Goodwill or Salvation Army. That guy really needs to do better at his job. He is not a good buyer. He didn't even really look at. What I brought.

I would give this place one star if it wasn't for the other staff that I encountered and the security guard who were nice and polite. Do not go here at all go to rag-o-rama in Little Five Points instead do not waste your precious timeI managed a clothing store for over 17 years and I have used consignment shops like this for decades, I had frequented the resale shop that was at this location Buffalo Exchange before this new shop replaced it I was told it would be one to one and a half hours to wait for the buying counter two hours later I was still watching this girl painfully paw through my stuff as inefficiently as she possibly could. For 45 minutes I watched her move four of my pieces folding refolding moving them around from register to register as if just to wait for pricing she had already put my two big bags at the front of the store that they were not interested in. As I've been in the store waiting for over 2 hours I try to be a little more patient as I wait for her to do the last part of the Buy. Instead she balls up the items and crams them into a corner of my cardboard box and then I have to go up and ask for my stuff and they claim that they had already called me and told me that they had passed and everything but that is not true at all I've been standing under the whole time my phone never rang.... don't lie to me on top holding me captive for 2 hours and then not taking anything and being super rude. I will never go back here and I will make sure that none of my other colleagues in fashion will come here either.

Never heard of the spot, saw it in passing. The store appears organized and clean, no weird thrift store smells. I would say the condition on a lot of the items are “fair” … heavily worn and/or damaged. I did find a couple vintage coats (Via Spiga, Vivienne Westwood) that were in decent condition and priced reasonably based on the wear. There were also several clockable replica bags that were priced as authentic. If you are familiar with high end luxury items, it’s not hard to clock. I asked about the authentication process and was met with “we don’t sell fakes”.Buyer beware.

OMG this place wants to pay next to nothing on your nice things, vintage & designer label! Then mark it up 12,000%! Not kidding. I sold a lot of my clothes & accessories at Buffalo Exchange which used to occupy the thrift store space...they paid reasonably. I will not go back to 2nd Street!!!!!!!

They didn't clarify they gonna took everything before I sign. I just feel I get myself into a fraud. Not a good experience.
