Went into the bank several times in the last few weeks. Seems like attitudes in this location are terrible at best. That being said today I went in to make deposits into my business account and had the pleasure of meeting the lady who obviously hates having to work the drive threw window as her attitude is absolutely horrible. After standing in line for over 15mins I was able to get my transaction completed. I’m not one to complain but if I had to deal with this on a regular basis I would close my account and go elsewhere. People with such bad attitudes don’t need to be in positions where they’re dealing with the public.

I'm from out of town. I've been banking with UCB from their beginning...and with the banks they bought out. I went into the lobby to cash a check and was told I could not use the restroom. Thanks for making me feel like a valued customer...!

Definitely don’t go here because, you can not deposit a check at the ATM, they do not offer temporary debit cards, always problems with depositing checks on the app, uncalled for delays when deposits are sent in through the app. There are certain employees that are very rude when trying to explain my frustrations with their company they have a bad way of dealing with frustrated customers as well. I was told that if I sign up for online banking I would save about $8 with digital summaries instead hard copies but they still change regardless. If you don’t look like you have money the employees don’t treat with respect and they are very judgmental of appearance. They also do not have remorse for disabled customers (wheelchairs etc.). I would go to a more major bank than this one if you do not want little lies and little problems here and there.

Talk about RUDE! I went there and asked to get a roll of quarters the the lady at the window *very* condescendingly said, "No, we don't give change to non-customers." Well guess what, I won't EVER be YOUR customer. Unreal.

I have been banking here for about a year, and since they became United Community Bank from First Madison Bank. I have had great service in several locations and from the tellers, customer service, and loan services. I highly recommend calling them for any of your needs, as they have always been able to help me!

Madison First really was "your friendly small-town bank." Then UCBI bought them out and the culture immediately shifted. Everyone acts job-scared here. When you go to them with an issue they don't LISTEN and honestly address what you're saying. They're manipulative and dishonest. They mouth nice-sounding social worker homilies that don't actually mean anything while they duck around what you said and change the subject, because their real answer is "well, that's how things are here and we don't give a flip about you." Well okay then...

Overall, I enjoy UCB, so far. The majority of the employees at this branch are nice. They are very knowledgeable and help you in a timely manner.

I dint like that when I call the bank I have to go through several people telling me they will transfer me just to end up having to leave a message and wait to get a phone call back very unhappy about this because the matter is time sensitive
