Such kind and caring staff! From the lovely ladies at the front desk to Mary and Katrina who took care of my sweet Ollie! I just moved to Georgia from Texas and had to find a place to keep up with my dog’s severe allergies. I was recommended the school’s vet, and I’m so glad I was! The visit cost was about $70, and the cytopoint injection was $88, (which, at my previous vet, was closer to $150 for the injection alone). For reference, my dog is a white bully breed, about 75-80 pounds. He also got a cytology exam for a small lump forming on his chest, which was $53 (he’s okay!). Total cost visit was $212, which is pretty affordable in my experience. I felt that the staff did a great job of getting my puppies history, addressing all my concerns and answering all my questions. Plus, they were very generous with the treats :) I will note that I did have to wait a little long in the room due to it being a teaching vet clinic, but I felt extra comfortable and put to ease knowing that many professionals got to add their impressions and expertise into the pot. Absolutely recommend, especially if you’re able to spare a little more time at the vet! (Extra pictures of my house hippo provided)

I called in with a sick glider and was referred to all species in Duluth THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE when I told them I didn't have the money to keep her there and would take her home she wasn't breathing not even a min later mind you she was in this condition and breathing all day you all should never recommend anyone to go here !

They used to be the best place to take your pets in emergency situations or to see a specialist. Not anymore, all they care about is how much money they can milk you for. They work on your emotions and love for your pets. In addition they run tons of unnecessary tests that are extremely overpriced. I've found another hospital to take my fur babies to. Never again will I darken the doors of UGA animal hospital.

TL;DR: Misdiagnosed my cat, price was the highest in the area.I went to the UGA Pet Health Center over the summer to take in my cat who was having issues, they quoted me an amount that was completely out of my budget and gave me poor advice. I ended up going to another Vet who not only had better prices but completely rejected the Pet Health Center's guidance. I was able to reduce what would have cost me $450 here to something like $200 and I bet I could find cheaper if it getting help wasn't so urgent for my cat.The health center misdiagnosed my cat as blind when it wasn't... how do you get that wrong? Go elsewhere if you want better help and a better price.

The senior student vets are awesome. This is a teaching facility so it does require more time for your visit but it is well worth it!,

Excellent!! Caitlin was thorough and very aware of the special needs of my baby. Dr Vetter was kind, took lots of time with us, and followed up with a written note to make sure I understood all results. Very impressed.

The vet misdiagnosed my puppy and tried to get me to pay $650 for a bunch of unnecessary tests and treatments. I tried to decline and the Vet started guilt tripping me saying “I couldn’t sleep at night if I didn’t get this test done”. I tried my best to decline but She ended getting $150 out of me for some test my puppy didn’t even need. It turns out my puppy just had worms and I took him to tractor supply vet and got him dewormed and all his puppy shots for 65$.
