This place should be shut down. Those people from the past is not what it looks like today. The freezer has open meat packages and frozen maggots. Do we even have a department of health anymore?

Felt like I was in another country. The way everything was coned off and security looking like Rambo, we just left without going in.

Wow this whole place is turned completely around. The new owner really cares about the employees and our community. I'm thankful that it's so convenient for me to shop here. The meat department and the pharmacy are also really convenient. I highly recommend it.

Getting in is easy but, running out is easier. The prices are ridiculously high PLUS 10% on every thing you buy. So so sad.

When I don't want to go to Kroger on 29. I come here. A 30 large egg carton is not even $7..their meats are great prices too. It has been my go to more lately than Kroger.

OmG I haven't been to a Piggly wiggly since. I was a kid. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the cashier was so nice. But the shelves were mostly empty and the prices literally put me in shock. Take your shelf price (which was already higher than other stores) and add 10 percent at the register. So when you look at your receipt and normally you see minus sale prices, there you see plus the added 10percent. Don't recommend Piggly wiggly unless you have lots of money.

Cause why do you have to pay 10 percent? I'm already buying the grocery and have to pay an additional tax on top of a tax?

Of the 7 items I purchased, 4 rang up higher than the price on the shelf. There were no signs saying you need a loyalty card or anything, and I wasn't asked for one either.

I reluctantly went into this store this evening. I bought 2 juices, a Blount's family Chicken pot pie, box of ice cream and a big box of the super donuts that are served for breakfast in the school systems. Box was $22 bucks before the added 10%. Somehow my total came to $55 for those few items. So I payed. And looked at the receipt afterwards and realized that they charged me $17.15 for the pie. The pie was priced at $12.89 I took it to customer service and a price adjustment was completed. Pleasant service desk and and cashier experience. However I won't be coming back because I looked up the same pie at surrounding grocery stores and it was much much much cheaper. I say all this to say that This store is absolutely to expensive. You are not getting a deal whatsoever. You'd be better off going to Kroger on hwy 29. Great sales.. great prices. Great value. It's not worth it. Those prices are nowhere near the prices at the other local grocery stores. Even the ice cream is too much. This corporate marketing strategy is silly and the ppl who actually grocery shop there must be desperate cuz they are losing money overall. No way you're saving as a customer. No way. Go to Kroger or even the dollar general market across the street. Or go to Ingles on hwy 29 as well. Only 5 minutes away.
