Well, most people are here to help the customer, but I had one bad experience with a "manager", (I assume that because he dismissed me like one) his name is Kaleb. I frequent this place daily, prescriptions, quick snack, etc., etc. and I've never been dismissed by someone at the selfcheck counter, saying "someone else will help you!". I've never spoken with him before but I am sure that's the last time I will speak to him. I've been a manager for twenty plus years and I would never treat anyone like this...... makes you wonder about all the bad press of late for Kroger.
So there is my review for what it's worth. Avoid a little man pretending he's a large one named Kaleb, or at least that's what his name tag says.

Expensive and they mislabeled products. I had to let the meat department know that roughly a third of their products were saying April expiration instead of march. That's dangerous, that product says it has some month left but really goes bad today.

The food sold and served here is delicious! I love this Kroger. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are always disgusting.

This store is amazing. I truly enjoy shopping here.
That said, tonight I had a strange experience.
I found a tray of beef tenderloin. It was way too much for the small tray it was on. The plastic wrap was coming loose on one side, but no harm. I was going to buy it anyway. When I picked it up, I realized the whole side (about 2 inches) of the tenderloin was completely exposed to the air, and anyone who might have touched it or what else it might have been contaminated by.
So I walked over to the 20-30 year old thin guy with brunette curly hair and beard beside the meat counter and showed him. He took it from me and walked over and proceeded to put an additional layer of plastic wrap over it. I asked if he was going to put it back out for sale, and he said, "Yes we always do."
Always? What?
I told him that probably wasn't a great idea, it was completely exposed for God knows how long.
He looked at me as if he had daggers in his eyes, slammed the package on the counter and walked toward the cooler shaking his head like he was about to explode.
For real? I was kind about it. I was in no way rude to deserve that sort of response.
I am new to the area. So it really shocked me! Until now. Every experience at this store has been an awesome one. What I do know now, is I will never patronize the meat department here ever again.
Update: I was there yesterday again, (12/27). AGAIN. A whole [what I think was a] 3 lbs package of stew beef. Completely unwrapped and open to elements this time. I made a video.

We placed a pickup order to be ready between 4p-5p. It wasn't ready during that time so we stated we would be back after 6p and they said they would make sure the order was ready then. We came back and it was still not ready. 2 trips, 0 groceries, and now making a grocery stop ourselves. The girls who came out and told us were nice, but management needs to pull it together and manage their orders/time slots better. Waste of gas and time.

I normally like this store, but I needed to get two things, only two things, after work. I made it to the door before they're posted closing time but the doors were already locked. 6-11 means you close at 11:00. Not at 10:55, not at 10:50, at 11:00.
I will be speaking with the corporate office tomorrow morning.

Now Folks this Kroger has it going on! Such a wonderful place to shop with hundreds of special deals and fresh daily items. Just go and see for yourself how much they have and value to boot. Want a Coffee they have a Starbucks 👍Yes indeed please do you and the family a favor by shopping here.
