I don’t know if it’s the comfortability of the new store or what, but the pharmacy people move slower than molasses. Especially in the drive through. There could be no 1 inside waiting to fill or pickup, the drive through can be packed; they’ll help a customer & walk off. Then you’re left sitting at the for about 2-4 minutes. How do I know? Because I’ve experienced it on several occasions.

Moved here from CVS several years ago. Staff has always been helpful, courteous, and pleasant to deal with. They have gone out of their way to resolve issues with Dr offices that are late in sending in refill orders.

The express checkout counters made in 1989 aren't cutting it anymore. Also the physical appearance of the store, ie cleanliness, utilities, and store isles, are just below average. Also to note, certain bank cards are either not accepted by Kroger or aren't recognized by the aforementioned 1989 checkout system.Just go to the new (at least in comparative appearance and functional utility)Publix down the road and save time and money.

I did a store delivery and my food was never delivered. I called to get a refund spoke to 2 mangers haven and Kristen very rude and unprofessional. That told me a driver came to my address and no one answered even after I asked if they would like to see my 2 camera footage that no One came. Said it would take 30 days for me to get my funds back and acted like they did not care. I will never shop at another Kroger ever in my life.

Worst pharmacy experience ever. The pharmacy tech was arrogant, dismissive, and unprofessional. Did not attempt to answer questions or solve problems. Did not want to be bothered to do the job of transferring a prescription from another pharmacy. He would not apply a manufacturer's coupon that would lower the cost from $300 to $25 and said the coupon was invalid. When I had the prescription filled elsewhere, the coupon was valid. I use other Kroger and non-Kroger pharmacies all the time and have never had an experience like this or a complaint.

I had a prescription called in and placed before I went on vacation, 9 days after it was placed I went in person to pick it up and was told they didn’t have anything for me. I called the next morning and was told again that they didn’t have anything for me. I called my doctor and was assured that the prescription had been sent 10 days ago. My doctor then called Kroger and was told that they in fact did have a prescription for me and would begin filling it immediately. When I picked up my prescription I asked the person checking me out when it was placed and she said “10 days ago.” I told her that I had been there yesterday and called that morning and was told they had nothing for me and asked why this was the case and she simply said she didn’t know. I almost ran out of meds because they didn’t realize I had a prescription. This is not the first time they have told me I did not have a prescription and then tell the doctor who prescribed it that they did actually have it and that they’d fill it right away. I believe people handling medication should be held to a higher standard than this. It is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

On my recent trip to the area, this was the grocery I used for the week. It's a pretty standard Kroger set up. They have a good selection but it's not one of the fancy ones. Staff was friendly each time I was in and they had the regular deals and such.

Trail Creek Village Kroger in Athens, Georgia: I was confronted by a "Pet Nutritionist" while shopping for cat food today. She begins by telling me that she's in the store as a "courtesy" to help customers make wise choices and answer questions. I told her that my cat has kidney disease and that I already know what she can and can't eat. She suggested that I buy Blue Buffalo cat food. I told her that she might be interested in a documentary about the pet food industry called "Pet Fooled" and that I knew Blue Buffalo to be an unethical company and that their food is harmful for cats and dogs. She went on to sing all of the praises of the company, telling me that they treat their workers well and they contribute to cancer causes (of some sort?). I said making charitable contributions is common PR practice for any company; it doesn't constitute being honorable. She persisted in speaking on behalf of the company, to such a degree that I finally asked her, "Do you work for Blue Buffalo?" She answered "YES." I find it highly deceptive and manipulative that Blue Buffalo and Kroger would "plant" this company whore on site wearing a generic and nondescriptive costume, posing as a neutral Pet Nutritionist.
