The express checkout counters made in 1989 aren't cutting it anymore. Also the physical appearance of the store, ie cleanliness, utilities, and store isles, are just below average. Also to note, certain bank cards are either not accepted by Kroger or aren't recognized by the aforementioned 1989 checkout system.Just go to the new (at least in comparative appearance and functional utility)Publix down the road and save time and money.

I did a store delivery and my food was never delivered. I called to get a refund spoke to 2 mangers haven and Kristen very rude and unprofessional. That told me a driver came to my address and no one answered even after I asked if they would like to see my 2 camera footage that no One came. Said it would take 30 days for me to get my funds back and acted like they did not care. I will never shop at another Kroger ever in my life.

Wow you’ll find shady business standards here. It actually charged out $19.99 and when I caught it and removed it to leave behind an employee stated “ I guess you didn’t read the fine print either!” She said “it’s been happening all day.” I said “then perhaps you want to change the sign” and actually smirked at me and said”You must be one of those people that doesn’t read the fine print when you buy a car either.” Totally rude and unprofessional to speak to a customer that we will never shop there again!

On my recent trip to the area, this was the grocery I used for the week. It's a pretty standard Kroger set up. They have a good selection but it's not one of the fancy ones. Staff was friendly each time I was in and they had the regular deals and such.

Trail Creek Village Kroger in Athens, Georgia: I was confronted by a "Pet Nutritionist" while shopping for cat food today. She begins by telling me that she's in the store as a "courtesy" to help customers make wise choices and answer questions. I told her that my cat has kidney disease and that I already know what she can and can't eat. She suggested that I buy Blue Buffalo cat food. I told her that she might be interested in a documentary about the pet food industry called "Pet Fooled" and that I knew Blue Buffalo to be an unethical company and that their food is harmful for cats and dogs. She went on to sing all of the praises of the company, telling me that they treat their workers well and they contribute to cancer causes (of some sort?). I said making charitable contributions is common PR practice for any company; it doesn't constitute being honorable. She persisted in speaking on behalf of the company, to such a degree that I finally asked her, "Do you work for Blue Buffalo?" She answered "YES." I find it highly deceptive and manipulative that Blue Buffalo and Kroger would "plant" this company whore on site wearing a generic and nondescriptive costume, posing as a neutral Pet Nutritionist.

Helpful store personnel and click list employees - Madeline at Click list helped with extra effort to make curbside service work smoothly. Food has been usual Kroger quality. Very grateful for Kroger making curbside pick up available for safety of senior citizens during covid. Unfortunately sometimes the sales are sometimes available only to those who can go inside. If you ask, the ClickList people will try to make those items available when they can. Unfortunately haven't been inside the store in a year because of covid, so I can't comment on the facility or masking inside. Plenty of parking in the strip mall where it is located

The grocery pick up service is extremely bad. I went to make a pickup today. It's Sunday and my order was scheduled for noon. When I got there I checked in as requested and about 10 minutes later a clerk came out with the grocery items in tow to tell me he couldn't give me the order until 12:30 because I had a bottle of cooking wine on my order list. ??? Why bring the order out to tell me he couldn't give it to me? Extremely bad service. Produce items were marginal at best. The few times I have used the service there's always everyday items out of stock such as butter with no substitute available. Really? In that whole store that carries a number of brands of butter nothing was available? The nickname for this Kroger in the neighborhood is "third world Kroger" . They won't be getting anymore business from me. Tax records indicate the Kroger Corp. owns the shopping center. Only three shops open in the center. The property is run down and not kept up at all. The store is dirty and not well stocked. The manager was replaced last year and the new management I have seen working rather hard to try and improve things. There is clearly no support from the corporate office. I have written the corporate office and a general generic email response about taking up issues with the local manager is their preferred way to respond. I bet the CEO of this company makes a nice salary. To bad the company treats its employees so bad. I'm done with Kroger. They deserve to go out of business. They don't give a dam about customers or employees.

The store was super clean and well organized, besides the lack of toilet paper in stock. However, the cashier name Vanessa was wonderful. She help me save so much by telling me about digital coupons. Definitely will be back soon!

They have placed large round displays in the way at the self checkout lanes that force customers to squeeze close to someone checking out just to get to the next check out station. I pointed it out to employees how risky that is during the COVID19 protocols and defeats social distancing. They did nothing.

Kroger strikes again. I bought some “FRESH” soup from you tonight from their fresh meals Dept. and ate it for dinner. That’s all I ate for dinner. Within an hour and a half I felt like I was dying. As I lay on the bathroom floor My boyfriend checked the date. THE USE BY DATE EXPIRED 7 DAYS AGO!!!!!! This soup had milk in it among other ingredients. I’m just now feeling somewhat better but still awful. I’m so livid. I never imagined I needed to check the date on a fresh item. Luckily I didn’t finish the whole bowl. This is the second item horribly out of date I have purchased at your location. Luckily the first tome I noticed and didn’t get sick over it. Never again Kroger. Never again. I have the packaging and my receipt. I will be bringing them to your attention as soon as I am recovered from the food poisoning I am currently enduring.

Beware if you want to work here or at any kroger. This store has really gone down hill. They really treat the employees very very poorly. kroger stocks went down, so to help fix that they raise the minimum hours a part time employee needs to work to get health insurance and then they reduce your hours below that amount. Voila!!! kroger stock goes back up because they screwed the part timers. (I purposely did not capitalize kroger)
