J's Bottle Shop is a great liquor store with a huge selection of beer, wine, and spirits. It is definitely one of the best bottle shops in the Athens area, known especially for its bourbon and tequila. The staff is super helpful, very kind, extremely knowledgeable, and informative, always willing to give suggestions. They are nice and smiling, providing good service. The prices are very competitive. It is not your regular mom and pop liquor store, offering some single barrel store picks. It is a good place with good employees and a great selection.
