I recently had the pleasure of working with Austin Moore salesman at Hyundai of Athens and I can confidently say he deserves a glowing review! From the moment I walked into the dealership, he was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me and my family feel comfortable right away.
What impressed me the most was his transparency throughout the entire car-buying process. He took the time to explain every detail, answer all my questions, and ensured I understood all my options without any pressure. It was clear he genuinely cared about helping me find the right vehicle rather than just making a sale.
His knowledge of the cars and their features was impressive, and he was more than willing to go the extra mile to ensure I had a positive experience. I couldn't be happier with my new car, and I owe a big thank you to him for making the experience so enjoyable.

Athens dealership is the ONLY dealership I take my car to be repaired. I finally found honest mechanics here. I am treated like a customer here they change oil and correct all recalls. Great service each visit free coffee while you wait too.

Over the years I have purchased several vehicles and I can say, without hesitation, my new Hyundai purchase at Hyundai of
Athens has been the best car buying experience I have ever had.
From the moment we stepped onto the dealer’s lot everyone we encountered was so friendly. My wife and I were expecting the usual sales pressures and antics but there were none. It was a very easy, smooth transaction from start to finish. The GM even introduced himself to my wife and I and offered to buy us lunch!
Dealership was clean, organized and felt welcoming.
Our salesman - Austin Moore, was quite impressive. He was patient with us, helped us pick out the exact SUV we were dreaming of getting, answered our many questions, was very professional - in both appearance and behavior and was refreshingly honest with us. For example, when he wasn’t sure about something or did not have an answer he said so and made an effort to get us the correct answer to our question or concern.
The business manager - Gregory Michael, was equally a complete pleasure to deal with. My past experience has been dread when it comes to going into meet with the business manager. Much like when going to the dentist. Not the case here! Gregory made the “legal” part of the transaction, easy - in fact as smooth as silk! He was professional, accommodating, took his time to explain everything in detail and he made sure we were totally happy with our purchase.
Everyone made us feel like family.
I might add, there were three Hyundai dealerships closer to our home. We happened to be in Athens when we decided to stop in and just have “a look”. My wife and I are so glad we did.
We HIGHLY recommend Hyundai of Athens and especially Austin Moore.
P.S. I learned that Hyundai of Athens was recently acquired by a large, very highly rated automotive group. I can only say that this dealership has their act together.

I cannot say enough about the service I received from Dylan Collins and Hyundai of Athens!
From the last time that I was there, about a year ago to yesterday, Monday August 12th 2024, it is a night and day difference! The previous manger that was in charge of service, well he did me dirty. There was a problem and to save his budget he fixed my issue but did not honor the warranty so when the issue re occurred I was stuck. I swore I would never go back again but I had to for this current issue. Clearly the dealership and GM saw some opportunities and took a proactive approach to making some changes to enhance the customer experience and service!
Dylan is the example of that! He was understanding and thorough and extremely detail oriented. Mostly he was friendly and worked to achieve a quick and honest solution. He updated me when he said he would and provided solutions. The dealership is in a college town and understands that students have budgets and they worked to help me stay within mine. My parents have a Hyundai as well and I encourage anyone and everyone that reads this to ask for Dylan Collins by name when you need to have service done on your car. He will get it done quickly, correctly, and most importantly, honestly!

Nice enough people who try to help,
but none of the departments talk to each other.
So make certain to get the information for person who helping you.
Make sure to talk to that same person again because they do not have any kind of centralized system, etc. so no one will know what is going on except for that person.
And if they say that they will call you back, don’t hold your breath. You will definitely have to call them back, probably more than once in order to get assistance.

Bought my 2024 Palisade XRT here. Great experience during that process, went in yesterday for regular maintenance. Oil change and rotate. Service advisor told me an hour and that's how long it took. Very pleased with the service dept here as well. ?

Purchased a new SUV with their team. Everyone I interacted with was courteous and friendly. Everyone involved made the experience smooth and easy. I’ve purchased many cars in my time, both new and used, and this purchase was absolutely one of the best, from start to finish. Austin was very knowledgeable about what vehicle was the best fit for my wants and needs. The price was better than fair after a little back and forth. Definitely the best deal I’ve done on a car in the past 10 years. If you’re in the market for a car, you’d do well to give them a look.

Big shoutout to Chris Elrod on his knowledge and excellent customer service on my recent visit. I brought my daughters 2019 Tucson in for service from Michigan after problems with dealers there. Chris got us right in and took care of the problems that we had. He kept us updated and had excellent follow up and feedback. Always great dealing with someone who cares. Thanks!

My mother was told by another mechanic that her transmission was messing up so she took it in to get it fixed under a warranty. She is 74 living on a fixed income. They said $900 for a fan. I watched a 6 minute video how to fix it and the part is less than $100. 5-6 screws to pull it out. I called 3 times to speak with someone, never got a call back. Now they are holding her car for $195 for the diagnostics on the fan was never told there is a charge! Horrible service and people! CROOKS!

Having always had a love for cars and sales, the past twenty years have become disheartening, the dealerships don't do deals or wiggle like they did then... That's the impression I had until I met David, he did everything I asked and put me in my first new vehicle, the whole process was halfway finished before we EVEN meet, David ordered a promotion that I was unable to get in Georgia and several other states, going out of his way to be accommodating and understanding, ordering the vehicle for me from South Korea, and keeping me updated on delivery status! Dave, took me to lunch while we waited on them to detail the car! Dave was very thorough and patient when showing me all the features and technology. No hangups or hidden fees, during financial, everything was straightforward! I got that 2024 ionic 6, apparently this dealerships first ev, elegant and fast, thank you David!
