Wow what a great experience we had buying our 2025 outback on 11- 14- 25.everyone was happy to be there.mr Erick knows his cars.told him wanted with details.had 9am saturday app.he gave me the numbers no smoke up my bloomers.we laughed so much while doing paperwork.david Owen's is so funny but knows his business.he got our payments,intrest and final cost where we wanted.we drove 150 miles from augusta and it was worth the drive to be treated so good.they welcomed our dog that we took.got water and squeaky toy you won't be taken care of that well anywhere else.thanks so much mike esther& tucker

Fabulous sales team at Hughes Subaru. Everyone was very patient and knowledgable, which was great since I’m a first time Subaru buyer and had a zillion questions. Maureen was my sales agent, or “concierge” as I called her since her service was impeccable and knowledge extensive. She made the process very smooth. Her responsiveness to email, calls, and text is top tier. David Montgomery, the finance specialist, deserves a raise for his patient demeanor and the kind way he explained nearly every line of the documents to me. Thank you, David. The “Daves” deserve a shout-out, too for being available when I was and working to put the numbers together in a way that made sense to my analytical side. Lastly-I’m in love with my new SUV. Thank you, Hughes Subaru, for putting a smile on my face and a Subaru in my drive.

From start to finish, my experience with Hughes Subaru was exceptional. My Sales Advisor, Bryson, went above and beyond throughout the entire purchase. He helped me test drive a 2025 Subaru WRX Premium and then build and order a brand-new 2025 Subaru WRX GT with several upgrades. Subaru Japan delivered the car in about a month—impressively fast!
Bryson's attention to detail and communication were outstanding. He even noticed a few missing parts on the original purchase order, which he resolved right away. The replacement parts are now awaiting installation with the service department. It's rare to see that level of follow-through and professional care.
On delivery day, David, the Finance Manager, made the final steps just as smooth—he got me financed and driving home in my brand-new car the same day. Paperwork is tedious, but he kept the conversation and signatures moving and was very friendly the entire time.
I'm still waiting for a few remaining parts to arrive, but overall, this purchase has been one of the best dealership experiences. Bryson and David at Hughes Subaru truly deliver professionalism and genuine customer care. I recommend them to anyone looking for a Subaru or a great car-buying experience.

The Best Experience I’ve Had at Any Car Dealership in Decades!
This was hands down the best car-buying experience our family has had in decades. The team here is genuine, patient, and kind — the total opposite of the aggressive, high-pressure dealerships we’ve all been to where they keep you sitting around all day just to wear you down. From start to finish, everything was smooth, transparent, and respectful. It reminded me what a true hometown dealership should feel like. They treated us like people, not numbers, and our family is so grateful for that. It’s everything you hope for when buying a car, and everything the industry should be.

Service Advisor Alex took my car in for an oil change 3 weeks ago. After the change, he called telling me my engine filter needed to be changed and my battery was bad. I said yes to the filter but no to the battery (at $500). He said a video had been taken and would be coming through shortly to my phone...it never came through. He then called me again to say my front passenger side tire had a nail in it and that it could be patched for $40. The tires are OEM/the factory tires from when I drove the car off the lot in 2020. I don't know one mechanic that would recommend patching a tire that is 5+ years old and has almost 50,000 miles on it.
When I went to pick up the car a different Advisor checked me out. I asked him if there was anything in the paperwork about a nail in the front tire, and sure enough there was no note. There was however, a note saying that a video had been sent to me even though it never arrived and on the inspection diagram it noted that my battery was bad.
I just got back from a local shop where I got my battery tested, only for the mechanic to show me on his handheld that the battery was perfectly fine. The vehicle is out of the full warranty period and they clearly were planning to capitalize on that. This is the 5th vehicle in my family from the Phil Hughes dealership chain and we'll be taking this experience into consideration when we look for a new vehicle at his locations.
