DO NOT RENT FROM #Hertz. Hertz car rental is now charging people for items that they verbally refuse. Hertz is now overcharging people all over the country by adding insurance, roadside assistance and more. Hertz overcharged me $250.99 and this is a very common review on Hertz rental all over the country. Hertz corporation is refusing to refund the charges. Do your research and find a better car rental company.

Every time I come here to get a rental while my vehicle is being serviced, the Manager that work here always have an attitude and are rude. The girl that pick up the phone was rude and had an attitude for no reason. I will never visit this location or company again.

I had a unique and complicated situation and needed to change cars mid-rental, and they were extremely helpful. The process was quick and simple. They even spotted an error that has been made in my reservation and corrected it. Awesome customer service.

I love everything about renting a vehicle from this Hertz rental car center at Athens-Ben Epps airport in Athens, Georgia. The staff went out of their way with personable service at a great rate. It is so easy to navigate the entire process from start to finish.

Rented a car at the Atlanta Airport on 8/8 and brought it to this location at Athens on 8/10 due to an oil leak. The manager was out that day but they took the old car in and rented us a new car telling us the manager would be in the next day and he would void out the first contract. Well a few weeks after my trip I got a letter in the mail asking me to return the first car basically saying I stole it. Now I live in New England and left 8/21, received this letter 9/4 and flew home so zero chance of that. After starightening that out they now say I had the car for over a month and have charged me over $3000. Obviously the manager did not void out my contract and I'm now dealing with this mess. Not very happy, definitely will not rent a vehicle from Hertz again. Do not do business with this company.

Prices are four times higher compared to Feb 2020 after Coronavirus. I could get a Economy or Compact car for $26 with taxes, etc $64 total for one day June 14, 2021 I paided a prepaid discount, used my AAA card and Hertz Gold membership and paid $122 per day, not including the insurance and pre paid gas, too. It would've been much higher without discounts. Other than that I give stars to leave room for improvements...

Wonderful experience renting cars from them the last few times. I rent from them often and the manager is great. Cars are all newer and they take great care of you. I recommend them strongly. My car is always ready for me when I come to pick up.

Horrible experience with hertz in Athens . The vehicle I got it - stunk smoke and cigarettes also the stuff wasn’t friendly or willing to resolve a problem. It was the most expensive rental I ve ever did . Horrible rates

Worst rental service ever! They will double and triple charge you. They won’t maintain records of it. They will say they are repaying you back, and they never will. Even after submitting bank statements, they will still drag their feet. We have been trying to get reimbursed for several months now. Do NOT use them if you wish to have a wallet to hold afterward!We also had tried to buy a vehicle through the car sales team prior to this. They lied repeatedly to us about getting it ready, and they even said it was ready to come pick up. We come that morning, and surprise it was a farce. No van was there suddenly. Imagine that! We finally got fed up and said forget it.
