Brought them my '23 Corvette with a slow leak in the tire. My wheel was left unmarked by their wheel machine and they only charged me $20. Had to wait over an hour, but the staff was courteous and the technician even opened and closed my car door with a microfiber towel to avoid leaving fingerprints.

I've moved a couple of hours from the Athens area and decided to purchase new tires at a different store. After having continuous issues and 2 trips back to the store, I finally drove back to Athens to University Tire. They were able to diagnose the problem and repaired it quickly. Worth the long drive!! Should have come back here first! Thanks University Tire!

We recently had front tires replaced on our motor home while traveling through Georgia. UT came highly recommend by NIRVC Atlanta. During the install there was a minor mishap which resulted in some cosmetic damage. Thanks to Matt Kirkland and his crew, the issue was resolved and handled professionally. I can’t compliment University Tire enough. Yes I’ll return there for my remaining 6 tires. Thanks again Matt and crew!

Awful experience. Customer service is non-existent. Waited 4 hours for two tires swapped out and a quick oil change. They should be ashamed, but I know they don't care. I will never go back and that's fine with them. They'll just make it up on the huge volume of suckers running through their business. Don't be a s****** stay away!

Andrea, at the Athena Mitchell Bridge location, was so nice and helpful during a stressful morning. She started my ticket over the phone and had the shuttle driver waiting for me when I got there! I actually even made it to work on time! She kept in touch all day with me and my daughter, updating us. When it turned out that the car wouldn’t be done today and my daughter was going to be at work tomorrow until after they closed, she let us know they would be happy to deliver the car to her job. I was so impressed with the customer service today!! Thank you so much. (And I hope I spelled her name correctly!)

Do not take your car here!! I went in to get 4 new Michelin tires put on. They had my car for 7 hours, just to put 4 tires on my car. When l picked up my car the steering wheel was super loose and there was a clicking/popping sound coming from one of my struts. I brought my car right back in and they said everything was fine with my car, which it's not. They didn't do an alignment on my car, which l told was included when you buy new tires. I had to take my car to the dealership to get an alignment done and that's when the dealership told me they heard a popping sound when driving my car, something l hadn't even mentioned to them, so l know I'm not crazy! I called Jerry the owner and he said that there's nothing they can do to help me out. This is by far the worst place I've ever taken my car before! These guys will break your car and not be accountable for it! They also stole all of the cash that l had in my middle console. These guys are so dishonest! Do not take your car here. I'm warning you!

Used University Tire in Danielsville for air conditioner repair. They found the best price for the necessary parts, saving us over $200 and completed the repair! Excellent customer service! Highly recommend!

Incompetent shop. Specific instructions must be left so they know what to do, because they don't know themselves. Did not end up following my instructions anyway. Was told my car was ready, and when I got there it was not, making me waste money on an Uber. When I got there the next day, they told me they didn't even work on it any further. They CRACKED my windshield and denied liability, saying it must have happened before. Also did not even align my car correctly, and damaged my BRAND NEW WHEEL when putting the tire on. Cannot correctly operate phone lines- when they put you on hold, they end up transferring you to another customer. I left very unsatisfied. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else

Brought my E350 work van to University Tire to resolve an issue with the fuel pressure and replacing the sway bar bushing. We told the people at the shop what we needed done and we thought they acknowledged. Anyway, we got called the next day that the van was ready and that all the repairs had been done: $1300+ and we said ok. 1/2 hour later we get a call that the van is now showing "a new error" but we should not worry about it and that we should just put new fuel and drive it around . We picked up the van, paid university for the "repairs" and brought the van back to our house. My husband knew beforehand what the problem was because he had a diagnostic computer and the computer was reporting an error with the fuel pressure, that was the main reason we were bringing the van to the shop. Anyway, when we went to pick up the van we found that the NEW error showing in the computer is the same error we brought the van in for and the problem that supposedly university tire had just repaired! In addition to that, we were charged over $300 in diagnosing the problems that they didn't find and didn't fix and didn't listen to us when we told them the error code number. When we inquired why we were charged astronomical fees to diagnosed we were told: "that's the way we schedule our fees"We were charged 2 hours of labor @ $98hr to look at a filter? I asked, did you replace the filter? She said "no, but the me mechanic still had to find it in the van and it was located behind the engine... he visually inspected it and it was good, so he didn't need to replace it, but he spent 2 hours looking to it". It turns out the filter is right under the van and if the van is lifted, which it was, the filter is right there. 2 hours to find a filter that takes me, a novice woman, 2 minutes. Anyhow, this shop will overcharge if given the chance and I will never give them the chance to do that to me. I will go back to 5 Star Alignment and never make the same mistake again. Many books have been written about customer service. Save yourself time... head over to University Tire, sit in their very comfortable waiting room, and listen to them interact with prospects, new clients, and those who have been coming here for years. Sincere, fair, hospitable — organic and exemplary customer service. Oh, AND their tires are well priced, with quality installation completed in a timely fashion.

Definitely stay away from this tire place. They won't repair the tires and make the situation worse. Had a tire under warranty that became voided because they damaged it when trying to repair. Don't know if it was on purpose or incompetence but just stay away.
