This is a really nice place, been here a while. Been to the rest of the car shops in town, I suppose they just don’t really hold a light to this one. The staff isn’t over bearing or negligent. Even though yugioh is dead as a doorknob, it’s still nice to hang around and play a bit of commander.

Absolutely amazing store! They have everything from board games, Warhammer 40k, Magic the Gathering, Pokémon etc. SOOOOO many singles! If you need a card I would confidently assume this shop has them and priced accordingly to tcg if not better. Extremely well organized, spacious and amazing staff. 10/10?

Why is nothing labeled with a price? Why do i have to constantly get the attention of someone in the middle of their conversation just to see how much something is? WHY is the online stock not reflective of the in store stock? If they have it online to buy you would expect it to be available in store, not here apparently. “If we have it, its in that case” the one with people having conversations over? The one with boxes on top of it? LOOK IT UP, you clearly have some sort of inventory system. I didnt come to the store to get robbed (just sell your stuff online, what this place gives is a joke, even store credit was like 30% market value) AND work YOUR shift. Why would you put products behind playing tables with people actively playing at them? Its awkward and uncomfortable. Everything about this place is just weird to me, some may love it and thats fine, but im not coming back. I haven’t left once without feeling robbed of my time or money.

My partner and their family was close with the owner and employee's of this LGS for many years and we had great experiences here. A year ago, out of the blue, we were both "banned" from the store without any disclosure. When we tried reaching out to the owner to speak about what happened, the owner continually pushed us off and never reached back out. This put a lot of strain on our family and it was difficult to work through such unprofessionalism. Dragon Star is a wonderful LGS on the surface with hidden red flags. I've held off writing a poor review in hopes that the owner Joe would eventually reach back out as he intended but this evidently was a lie. Disappointing and lame to treat long-time loyal customers with disdain.

This 5 Star Review is MOSTLY because of my man Casen (hope I spelled your name right buddy). Thank you for always being kind and helping me when I come in. I know I can get annoying with wanting only the best quality single cards and the best deals on bulk sealed product for my stream but you always go above and beyond to help me out. Thank you brother, you’re the reason that I keep coming back. Till next time bro.

Everyone here is cool and helpful. A welcoming, diverse, and fun community. Great place to buy, sell, and play Magic any day of the week. Highly recommended.

The shop has a great atmosphere, I've been coming weekly for games for months now and it's always a load of fun while also being accommodating for kids which can be a trouble with some shops. The owners are friendly and the other patrons are usually very welcoming. They sometimes also do charity events which is quite a generous thing considering how narrow the margins for gameshops can be. Highly recommend.

It’s hard to get help because the employees talk to their friends, and when you are acknowledged they tell you you can’t look at the card stacks. Weird you won’t sell cards that you have in stock. Probably won’t be back. Their binder selection is constantly the same.

Everything you would want as a magic player....minus the snowflakes that can become offended and ban a paying customer whilst they play a fully proxied deck of cards they don't own and haven't purchased from the shop. Meanwhile, you spend 5k and are banned forever to continue an all are welcome perception. Props to the staff for their knowledge but sadly ownership is too scared of the leftist offense culture to keep paying customers
