This insurance company is misleading. I have roadside assistance and the evidence is shown monetarily through my bank. Unfortunately, I was told twice that I do not have roadside assistance by 2 different agents on the night that the service was needed the most. I ended up having to pay out of pocket. On the next day, I called the company to explain what occurred the night before. The agent couldn't understand why I was adamantly told that I do not have roadside cover when I actually DO. She cleared up the matter and helped me to file a claim. Moral of the story...If you have this company... Check your policy.

The “boss” told me to “well you called and you go talk to whoever you want” and proceeded to hang up on me simply because I asked to speak to another employee.Every other experience with them I had was good, but their manager needs to be fired for his poor treatment of customers.

I am a policyholder with full coverage insurance. My payment is set up for automatic withdrawls on the date of the 16th of each month. Direct has ALWAYS submitted my payments for withdrawal 2 weeks earlier than the date due. In return, my checking account is off balanced. I've had to pay so many 34.00 returned check fee. This action always has a end result in bank account as a negative amount. I've called and requested customer service and billing to not submit until due date. We must not speak the same language or Direct doesn't listen to policyholders requests. Therefore, I stopped payment on this ACH. I will be leaving Direct Auto as soon as my policy renews. Very disappointing and customer service is non-existent.
