We booked a room at this Comfort Inn and suites yesterday for one night that you can see from the attached receipt that included a sofa bed suite and got to the room and there was no sofa suite and then went to the front desk and they said those rooms cost more. Well maybe today they do but yesterday when we booked it was $367.25 for that option and less for the just two bed option. We stayed here many times several years ago for UGA games and we’re trying it out again but won’t stay here again if they switch rooms up on us like this and then the front desk response is that our rate will not be lowered to the 2br rate without the sofa suite like we paid for . In the grand scheme of things in Life this is minor but when you’re paying close to $400 a night you kind of would like to receive the room type you paid for though and if you didn’t receive that room type you’d expect a rate for the room type that you received.

Elevator didn’t work, hade to carry luggage to second floor. Key cards constantly didn’t work, had to keep going to main desk to reset cards. Big crack in the sink.

I would not recommend this hotel. At first glance, it looks nice, but that's not the case.
* The curtains do not close. You are left with a sheer curtain that allows in all light. So be prepared to wake up with the sun and have the parking lot lights shine into your room all night. Curtains usually dampen outside noise. Since there aren't any, you can also hear the interstate and passing vehicles.
* The bed is rock hard. I would have had the same experience had I slept on the floor.
* The bathroom is disgusting. The tub was covered in mold. I didn't feel safe using it.
* The doors do not reach the floor. There is about a 1 inch gap that allows in light and noise. My room was by the elevator and I could hear everything.
Every staff member I encountered was incredibly nice, but it was not enough to make me want to stay here ever again.

Great price for the location, staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms need some serious TLC. Stained curtains, damaged furniture, damaged plumbing, and stained walls and ceiling.
Rooms: Rooms are decent but dated and need work. Elevator struggles and is loud. Found stains on curtains and wall. Tub faucet practically came out of the wall when switching to shower.
Nearby activities: Close to the college and minutes from downtown Athens.
Noteworthy details: Staff was extremely helpful in assisting visitors, recommendations, and getting rooms together for our travel party.

So we stayed here during a UGA home game. I loved my experience here. From the moment we checked in to when we checked out it was pleasurable.
Lobby was nice and festive with red and black decorations on the long table in the lounge area - very nice touch! They had what is likely the most well stocked snack shop that I have seen in any hotel.
The owner does not slack off on staffing the hotel. Staff was awesome from front desk to maid service. Very welcoming.
Room was great - air conditioner was loud when it turned on but I found it lulled me to sleep which was nice.
Breakfast looked great and well stocked although I did not partake as we had brunch reservations. The OJ was very good.
Plan on staying again when we get back to Athens!!
Rooms: Clean and comfortable!
Nearby activities: UGA game
Safety: Felt secure
Food and drinks: Well stocked and attended to breakfast area
Noteworthy details: Clean rooms

Stayed one weeknight while passing through. Nice enough property, clean room, comfortable bed and a/c kept the room cool, but way overpriced for a Comfort. The area is west of town and about 15min, give or take, from downtown depending on traffic. This apparently is a congested area no matter the time of day as getting out of the parking lot was a challenge both in the evening and well as the following morning. Good luck if you want to turn left!

The hotel could use some more updates. The shower in Room 318 made a loud whistling sound. The paint on the wall behind the sink was chipping. The fitness center was closed. The breakfast bar was basic. The hotel location was great for us. The rooms were quiet. Sam, General Manager, was very engaging with his guests. Not a bad experience but definitely not the best. We’d stay again if in the area.
Nearby activities: Eateries, gun and pawn shop, retail and thrift stores
