Animal hospitals scoring 4.8 out of 5.0 should raise serious questions about the legitimacy of their reviews. You give bad news to people having bad days. So your reviews should be more akin to those of auto mechanics, not fancy restaurants with warm environments.
In our case, my girlfriend made an appointment and provided her card number. Due to a miscommunication, I didn't make it there on time. So they immediately charged the card for $50. I apologized and ask if they could credit the$50 toward our next visit, they refused. I offered to come in on a walk in basis and wait until they had time between other visits, they still refused. Now we have to dispute the charge with the bank, as this was clearly an unauthorized charge.
Whether the other reviews were solicited or not, I definitely don't think they could have earned so many 5 star reviews without being more compassionate and sensitive to their customers. Charging for doing nothing is no way to handle a customer who only wants a few minutes of your time.

ALL staff members that I encountered were the sweetest, knowledgeable and most attentive vet techs!
The doctors were informative and very assertive with my dog Coco’s condition and helped me tremendously with the overwhelming situation that both him and I were put in. (& especially Dr.
Howard- big props to you!)
Hands down best vet hospital in Athens!
10/10 all around with communication, pricing and scheduling!

I cannot speak highly enough of the care my dog Rory received last week during an emergency. This office was quick and compassionate to allow me an appointment even though we were not yet established patients, and from the minute we got there we received such wonderful care from Dr. Daugherty and her team. She was clear and up front on what was needed, did what she could to keep the cost down, and kept me in the loop with several phone calls after I had to leave Rory overnight. And she called the following day to follow up on how she was doing after I had brought her home! I am so thankful for how much care they showed for my Rory, thank you all! We are glad to have found this office :)

I absolutely love Boulevard! Our kitten was extremely sick, and we could not figure out what was wrong with him. We came to Boulevard for a second opinion, and Dr. Dougherty figured out what was wrong with him immediately! Our cat is now very healthy. Boulevard is fast, efficient, and very communicative. We are so grateful to Dr. Dougherty and the staff at Boulevard for helping us get Zuko better!

our kitty clark had such a wonderful appointment at this vets office. everything was professional from the start and they answered every question with the utmost certainty and sincerity. not to mention it didn't even cost me a limb to pay for the services. will be coming back!

I knew this was the right place for my fur baby when Dr. Dougherty walked back in the exam room holding my Kitty in her arms as he cuddled against her. He loved her and she said he was such a gentleman.

I cannot put it into words how amazing Boulevard Animal Hospital has been for our dog. Benny is not a fan of the vet and super skeptical of strangers but he has grown to be very comfortable here. Very up front with services and costs and make the effort to make sure the pet is comfortable and not too stressed. Cannot recommend enough!!!!
