Customer service was a 10. Very pleasant experience. Friendly, non-intimidating, enthusiastic and welcoming. Grady assisted me and he was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and supportive.

Bo and Grady should be employees of the month! I have many foot issues resulting from a failed ankle replacement that resulted in a cut tendon and nerve. They helped me find a supportive and comfortable shoe very quickly. Thank you guys for excellent customer service!

Went in with my girlfriend so she could purchase some shoes. They are a return business for her. One of the benefits of shopping here is the personalized attention the staff gives as well as being knowledgeable on the product. Will continue to shop at this location

I have been buying shoes from Athens Running Company for 5+ years. I always feel welcome as soon as I step into the store.I often have many questions and the employees always seem happy to answer all of my questions. I’ve used the shoes bought at this store for races from 5ks all the way to Ironmans.I definitely trust and appreciate the input and expertise I get from the employees. I will definitely be a returning customer for many years to come.

The level of customer service Athens Running Company provides is rare. These folks know running shoes and they know feet and they know how to get you the best match. For the running shoes I purchased, they were slightly under price vs. some of their competitors, none of whom have knowledgeable and accessible staff to assist. I have made several purchases from Athens Running Company over the past several years and have had a great experience each time. They have earned my loyalty.

This is the best locally owned and operated shoe store in Athens!! It’s not franchise driven. I have an amazing experience each and every time I buy a pair of running shoes. The customer service is outstanding, and the product was exactly what I was looking for. I am pleased with the service I received from this business. The knowledge they have helped me to find the perfect FIT shoe.

I did not have the experience that led me to visit the store. I was told it is an excellent place to shop, based on their in-depth specialty fit analysis. However, when I visited the store on 08/25, I was asked upon entry what kind of workouts I do. I explained I enjoy HIIT workouts, walking, and occasional lifting. The woman, who seemed to be the owner (big diamond wedding ring), immediately told me there is no need for a fitting and proceeded to ask what size I normally wear. I was thrown off, given the guy next to me was talking about how they recommended a completely different size than shoes he wears to walk in. It was my birthday, and I was excited to be fitted for something as I build up my strength. Working out has always been favorite stress reliever. I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer this year and had a complete medical hysterectomy, which caused me to pause my favorite stress reliever for months. I don't understand why I was treated differently and I regret purchasing the shoes.

Went into this store with high hopes based off the reviews. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience. To start, I didn't receive the fitting process mentioned thoroughly on their website, and was given shoes all different sizes (from 9.5-11.5) that were practically hanging off my feet due to how large they were. The employees seemed much more focused on the gentleman who was trying to market his products to the store, and were far more concerned about trying to make a deal with his startup company. Maybe it's because the guy mentioned being associated with UGA football, but it honestly rubbed me the wrong way. I was disappointed and feel like I wasn't offered any of the services that I specifically went to this store for. Lastly, I walked out the store thanking them for their time and help, and they didn't even acknowledge my comments or presence as I walked out the door. I hardly ever give reviews, but I'm disappointed.

I needed some dependable shoes asap! I was so happy to find them at Athens Running Company vs making a trip to Loganville or Duluth. I, however saw a discrepancy and call the store. To my surprise, they were very understanding and apologetic. Brad offered me three options to resolve the issue. Amazingly, they drove the replacement shoes to my house, in the cold rain!! They were even nice enough to throw in a pair of free socks and a coupon for future purchases. That's what you call top tier customer service! I definitely will be telling my friends and family about this place! Thank you Brad and everyone else involved, you're awesome!!

I google searched for Hoka brand shoes and this company popped up. I drove 55 miles one way to shop based on the reviews and was not disappointed! I'm 65 years old and have shopped at every imaginable shoe store there is, including other countries. This was by far the most enjoyable, rewarding shoe buying experience I've ever had! The young man was really attentive and knowledgeable about not only shoes but the physiology behind selecting the best shoe for my specific needs. I will be back!

In town for UGA/TN game. Had breakfast in 5 points and stopped in at ARC. Brad was super helful and got my wife set up with some new Brooks. My son was able to score a pair of New Balance shoes. Employees took time let us know we are valued customers. Would highly recommend this store.
