Anitra is amazing. She always has a wonderful attitude. She does the first part of the exam. I have had her many times and I'm always happy when she is doing my appointment. The rest of the staff is wonderful as well and Dr. Mills is a wonderful professional doctor. I can't say enough.

Practically left this place in tears. The lady that helped me Check out (Deb) was totally unprofessional and a bully. Kept insisting I didn’t want the eye care club because I didn’t have the extra $139 on me and just needed to get some contacts, but she got agitated with me and even told me to call my father and ask him which one was the “better deal”. I felt totally disrespected, humiliated, and pressured. I have been going here since I was a kid and have never once been treated this way.

Great experience all the way around. Anitra was awesome. Dr. Martin Mills was awesome also working with my aphasic son. Highly recommend!

So we’re currently patiently waiting after making an appointment and being on time we were skipped multiple times after bringing to their attention her response was oh well i didn’t know ! Of course we’re Black ! Been here since 12:30pm and it’s 2:41pm and still hasn’t had his exam

We got taken care of by mrs anitra and kiara. They just made the best experience for me and my family. I have never had a better experience at an eye doctors before. It has always been a tough time for my girls to go through the appointment but it made my girls feel so comfortable. Thank ya’ll for everything and I ended up getting 2 pairs for glasses and gave me feedback and helped me pick out the glasses.

I had my glasses for 13 months & was REFUSED a copy of my prescription because they expire after 12 short months, meaning they are SUBSTANDARD to all other outlets that are every 3 to 5 YEARS. It's a way to force you to repurchase from them every year. So I will not be purchasing from them again. $800 every year for what was supposed to be $99 is ridiculous!

My daughter and I came in for eye exams and to pick out new glasses. Unfortunately, we had to also bring along my two year old who has no patience for sitting still. This made the visit challenging. Anitra and Alexcia were so incredibly kind, gracious and patient with her, helping keep her occupied so my other daughter and I could get things taken care of. We’ve been using America’s Best for years and I’ve been to this location multiple times but this office has me as a customer for life because of these two women. Everyone there has always been super helpful and friendly but Anitra and Alexcia went above and beyond and absolutely deserve to be recognized for their incredible customer service.

Athens location are very unprofessional staff, do not expect them to help in any way. I’ve received my glasses in less than a week so that was good but they were terrible. I wear progressive and was told that numbers are normal in the lenses but the numbers were very visible. I could see the numbers while wearing the glasses and people could see the numbers when standing away from me. I have been wearing progressive and I’ve never had this problem until I went to American Best. Anyway, after insurance and paying almost $300 for my glasses that’s what I got… cheap glasses and terrible services. The lady upfront went and got the Manager to help but he came to the front and never even tried to talk to me regarding the problem. What a great Manager and team leader. Do not recommend!

My latest prescription caused me a lot of eye strain and they changed the bifocal strength from 1.5 to 2.25, which was way too strong. So I went in on Wednesday to see if they could redo them with maybe 1.75. They said I'd need to see the same doctor and made an appointment for the following day. When I went in I told them the same thing about the bifocals and they said I didn't need to see the doctor but needed to see the tech, who happened to not be there. So for the 3rd day in a row I drove there and they tech said he could not change the prescription and I would have to make another appointment. I told him to just refund my money for the glasses. Since these went through insurance I'm sure I'm going to have to jump through hoops to get the other part refunded.
