“I have been banking with South State Bank since before it was South State Bank I haven't been with them since they were Bulldog Bank and Trust Community Bank & Trust I've been with them since 2007 I absolutely enjoy the people who work there I have built a friendship I don't feel like I'm just a customer anymore they are truly good people that work there I'm sure some have had bad experiences and yes it is an inconvenience at times that it's hard to find ATMs and hard to get money out if you are out of state butt for a small town like Athens it is a great Bank keep up the great work”

“I know Wells Fargo as a company has issues, but the folks at this branch are so helpful and kind! I came in right before closing, and they helped me get a billed paid even though I didn’t have a card (issues with delivery) nor a smartphone for digital wallet. They also helped provide options for where I now live, to get a card ASAP and if worse came to worse, willing to have it personally delivered to the branch. It was above and beyond.?”
