We have been eating here for years. Great meals for both locals and campers. However, in these days of "shrinkage," under the new owners, the meals have shrunk and the asking price has risen.

Been going for quite some time. Went tonight and got steak dinner. Steak was half the size it use to be, price 28.99( it was good) I had to order a sandwich because it wasn't near enough. Cost the two of us to eat 89.50. Again it was good but if this is going to be the new size, I will be back at Bob's. 16 oz for 25.99, more steak and less money. Welcome to respond.

So far we have tried the hamburgers, hotdogs and tonight the shrimp and all really really good, actually exceptional . Want to try the steak on a Friday or Saturday night. Staff is awesome……Worth the ride ???

The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the staff was sweet.However…..I heard the burgers were excellent so that is what I planned to order. The first thing I ALWAYS ask is if I can order it rare to medium rare…. I was told yes, so I ordered loaded and asked if my fries could be cooked very well done. Again, I was told yes.Let me mention at this point, only one other table was occupied.Happy, I took my cup to the beverage machine when one of the girls approached me to verify the temperature of my meat. I again told her I like it rare to medium rare.When the burgers were brought to our table I was informed that they were not allowed to cook the meat the temperature I requested and she hoped that was okay.Well, no, it wasn’t. Big difference between rare and medium well. Why was I not told this when I first asked so I could make a different choice. Plus, loaded apparently means one wilted piece of lettuce and two pieces of onion (not rings). The tomato and pickles were good though.Also the fries were by no means crispy.So for lunch I had a tomato slice, some pickles and picked out some slightly crispy fries.Not a lunch spot I would recommend.

LOVED the Cafe! Food was tasty and prepared to order! Catfish filet and lemon pepper wings were delicious! The Philly cheese was outstanding! Really liked the homemade tartar/fish sauce. So were the sweet potato fries. I won the chess game!
