I was here about 2:45 todayto pick up my "Salad Mozzarella Tomato OL" that I placed about about 20 minutes ahead of time. I gave the young lady a $20. My order was $10.27. I said just give me a $10 back and I'll go to my vehicle to get .27. This was all before I received my order. She was hesitant about giving me the $10 before I went to my vehicle. She said "NO, no,no,NO! I'll just give you the change! I said ma'am, I do not want the change, and to give me the $20 back if she didn't think I'd bring the .27 back. She actually gave me $20 back. I went to my vehicle, retrieved .27 and gave it to her. She then said we'll get your order ready. I said ma'am, this is a pick up order as stated in the beginning. This was my 2nd visit here for thus delicious salad, that is OH SO DELICIOUS! Every bite of this salad is SO DELICIOUS! The homemade dressing is delicious as well. Nothing needs to be added or taken away from this salad. It's just perfect! It has the taste that keeps you coming back for more! With the customer service today, I'm only giving 2 stars instead of 5.

Looked on their menu and seen they had a selection of sandwiches. Seen they had a few I wanted to try so I picked the blt and hot turkey sandwich. I like their bacon jam that comes on the blt sandwich so I would choose that sandwich next time I decide to eat there.

Displeasing and demeaning treatment is the experience described at this local college town small business establishment. The food is excellent for a first time visitor. However the treatment of services from their management who considers yelling at customers to be good business etiquette is disturbing. During times of a stressed economy one would think a small business cafe would be welcoming to college students and their family as they could help them maintain and grow their business. However this establishment does not appear to value all consumer business. Rather they prefer to be demeaning and unprofessional. Entering this establishment comes with low expectations to customer treatment with a high price ask for the purchase of their food and beverages.

RUDE PLACE… me and a group of peers went here for the first time. We calmly wanted to see what we ordered to see if we got the correct order. They gave some of us buzzers but not everyone, and they put us in groups but didn’t tell us. The manager out of no where walks up while we were talking an employee and starts yelling very loudly about our order. Me and my peers were very confused and embarrassed at her yelling at us about the order, when we just wanted to make sure we ordered the right thing. This was our first time and very disappointing.

Employees are always nice and have great customer service skills. However today as I was sitting in the shop the manager came from the back and was screaming very loudly and unprofessionally at these group of college students. That is no way to treat customers. She needs to be fired immediately. You can not expect paying customers to come back when the manager is hostile.

My husband and I live in a tiny one horse town , it's nice to come into Americus and get a really good cup of coffee and some quality treats now and then. When my family comes to visit, I always take them to this Cafe and we enjoy good food and good company.

I ordered a cappuccino with an extra shot for myself and asked if they could steam some milk for my little girl in a small cup (some cafes refer to this as a ‘steamer’ or ‘babycino’). The barista agreed to do it but then directed the teller to ring it up as a latte! A $4.75 latte! The average price of a gallon of milk is less than that. Not to mention, there was no double shot of espresso in the actual cup but yet I’m charged the same price as if there was . Absolutely disgraceful. I also wasn’t impressed with the service in general. Call me old-fashioned but when a customer comes to the counter, a teeny little bit of friendliness or pleasantries goes a long way. That was pretty much non-existent, which I find surprising for a cute little cafe in historic downtown Americus. It was by no means busy either so that’s not really an excuse. I was super excited to grab some drinks from this place and instead I walked out angry and disappointed.

After all of our walking on a cold day, it was nice to stop in for a great specialty coffee at Sweet Georgia Baking Co.!

Small place with very nice staff. Appeared clean. They sell baked goods but also have lunch options. My chicken salad was tasty but a bit salty. It came with grape tomatoes (delicious), focaccia bread and a lettuce salad. My husband got the chicken wrap, which he said was pretty good, but the side of potato salad he got in lieu of chips was TINY (about 1/8 cup). Prices were average.

Conveniently located in downtown Americus, this shop offers great food and friendly service. Seating is somewhat limited, but we were able to get a table. Everyone in our group loved the roasted tomato soup, and I especially liked the Ham Jam sandwich! Lemonade was refreshing and not overly sweet. The lattes were great, too!Kid-friendliness: Toddler-approved food!

My wife ordered the peach chicken salad plate and a few yummy pieces of carrot cake, pound cake and a muffin to take back to our room to have a late night dessert party with our friends who joined us later in the day for an overnight in Americus, GA at the Best Western Plus Windsor hotel which is directly across the street from Sweet GA Baking Co.. All of their food was tasty and delicious.

We were passing through and needed breakfast. We had the waffles and a breakfast sandwich - both were great. There were two waffles and the sandwich was a good size as well.

Great place for lunch!. They bake their own artisan breads daily and everything is prepared fresh to order. I can make a meal on just the bread, but pile some pot roast on and I'm in heaven.
