This place does not live up to the Hyatt name. Rooms are ok for the price but amenities, service, atmosphere and location are all pretty dodgy.

Koinonia is a historic place, down a lovely country road. They've got a gift store with locally grown food items, books, etc and it's got historic significance. It's the birthplace of Habitat for Humanity, have their own village, help others in need and much more. You can visit for a community meal, do an internship and they've got a product catalog. Google for more information ❤️

The majority of the Seniors from Riverview Senior Center in Oglethorpe Ga liked the experience very much. I loved the people and how they made us feel. It was a comfortable and very welcoming experience. I enjoyed the nutritional lunch that was served and literally forgot to take pictures. The tour of the establishment was both informative and educational. Our guide Sue was very cordial and we couldn't have had a friendlier individual. Two of us went back to eat lunch the next day and the lunch was again nutritional and healthy with a great devotional service. Sue was still a very kind, nice and approachable person. We truly enjoyed the experience. The store sells some of the best chocolate I have ever tasted. Not to mention the pecan and peanut brittle candies. I also purchased a jar of muscadine grape fruit spread and it was delicious. The Seniors were very excited to shop and purchased items for the souvenir store. Koinonia Farm ROCKS!!! Great place to visit!!!!

We have supported Koinonia from the first publication of Clarence Jordan'sbooks. We moved right along to pecans and chocolate products, and more. We got to volunteer for a few days, and the hospitality was overwhelming. The history of this place, it's community, it's mission, the products, bring blessings to millions of people. It gave birth to Habitat for Humanity, Jubilee Partners, and much more.

I stayed a week with this community as a guest. I would highly recommend. You can have as much or as little interaction as you'd like with the community members. I found it nice to connect with many of them. And it was a very peaceful place to spend Easter week. Would definitely stay again! Thank you for your hospitality.

Marvelous history. Beautiful location. Sadly they are diminished in number and have moved from "back to the earth" people of shared faith to comercislized survival mode. I'm not sure Clarence Jordan would be happy.
