We are so grateful for Americus Veterinary hospital for emergency care for our accident prone dog. They took him in immediately and provided excellent care.

My fiancé and I were from out of town and was on our way home to fl with our new puppy. When we woke up that morning the puppy was very ill so we googled the closest vet… not knowing who or what type of facility we were going to get we came here.
We were immediately seen by Dr. Tanzy Easom
She preformed emergency surgery on our little guy and sent us to an over night facility. Unfortunately god had other plans for the pup as he was to sick and young.
This was almost a year ago.
During the whole process even after we left Dr. tanzy she stayed in touch checking on our little guy multiple times a day and even after the puppy passed.
Dr. Tanzy has something school can’t teach you and that is love and compassion for what she does. She made a horrible time, in a place we were unfamiliar with feel like we had family near by.
We were truly blessed to have such a beautiful soul be our DR. That day.

I To My Dog Juju There Because the tech technicians weren’t cutting Juju nail short enough they come back faster it’s gotten where I have to have them cut once a month after I got Juju Home and Settled down. She was limping worse. So I checked her nail only half of them were cut and one that was making her blimp. They did touch it at all. So right now I am not happy with the service or the Help she received. I told them. To look closely at that foot because she was limping. But apparently they didn’t even check her nails at all

Presented with a puppy, approximately 10 months old, refusing to eat and lethargic. $400 later diagnosed with parvovirus. Maybe she has parvo ?♀️?♀️?♀️. But a week later she is definitely expecting puppies. Yes, we have become the horrible pet owner that doesn’t get the puppy fixed, but cancer trumps puppy. All the bloodwork done and they didn’t know she was carrying puppies!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I’m not sure if what they gave her to treat her parvovirus his harmful to the litter. Never again!!!!

Everyone is very loving and kind to all of our pets. Even though our dog and cat don’t seem fond of visiting we have received great service and no waits.

Dr Crawford is a compassionate and knowledgeable vet. Empathy and wisdom are the two of the most important attributes I would seek for care for and prescribe treatment to any of my very beloved cats. Dr Crawford also makes care calls, showing concern. I would recommend him highly to pet owners!
