Buyer beware!! Shady dealings at the place. Purchased a some what new, used van. Salesman swore up there were no problems. Claims several services had been done on it. If that's the case, I'd watch out for their service department too! Those things I can deal with. What I have a serious problem with is....... I was told tax, title and tag were included in the cost of the vehicle. The finance manager himself told me to let him know who to send the check to to pay for those items. This is because I live in a different state and they don't pay other state taxes. Claimed they withhold it as a requirement by the finance company. Fine, I played along. It took a call from me, 3 weeks after the purchase to find out where my paperwork was. My guess is, they dropped the ball in sending it and realized this when I called because it was sent FedEx overnight. It should have been that way the first place without me looking for it!Come to find out, they never included the tax, title and tag in the bill of sale so, after not only getting what they were asking for the vehicle, I was lied to about this. I agreed to the cost of the vehicle based on the info I was given. They were SHADY from get go. I would NOT recommend making any purchases from Hayes Chevrolet!! Very unprofessional!

This business needs to be permanently closed, or the management fired. Garbage customer service. They showed absolutely ZERO compassion or care towards issues that were their fault! They ordered/had the wrong part for my vehicle, then insisted it wasn't their fault, when in fact, it was their fault for having the wrong part. Hours after dropping off my vehicle- I was told I would have to wait for another part to come in, and that luckily the technician found the issue. OTHERWISE, they would have installed the WRONG PART!!! I assume it just didn't fit and they had to call me with their mistake. They didn't care about my situation, plans, costs. I had made my service appointment the week prior to coming in and dropping off my vehicle. They showed no ownership to their mistake. The service manager was exceptionally distasteful and only wanted to point fingers at everyone else. Recommend to NO BODY! Zero trust in Hayes!!

I called to make an appointment for oil and general service on my car. Someone answered who had no idea what oil my car needed, no idea what an air filter was, and would not allow for me to speak to someone higher up the chain of command. They then said a manager would call me back. Never happened. Later, I called back and got a manger who told me there was a recall on my car. It would be a 3-4 hour fix, so I needed to leave the car there.I arrived on the day of the appointment, and they said they might not have the part to fix the recall! This meant my ride back home had driven out to the dealer for potentially nothing. Again, this was some person working at the desk who had no idea what was going on. I later picked up my car and now believe they did not check the transmission fluid... The car shakes when accelerating.I called Hardy Chevrolet, and they immediately told me that my car has the wrong transmission fluid in it according to a recent service bulletin and getting a certain new fluid will fix the problem!

Always outstanding service. I service all of my vehicles here, including my work vehicles. Sean York in service is supremely helpful. He is always on top of things, and very communicative. Great service from a great dealership! Give this man a raise!

Sold us a faulty car, I've only had it for about a month. First issue was the cooling fan which they did fix but now my car will not crank or shift. The error message left was Transmission is faulty. Went to the dealership, they said since it was a Ford there was nothing they can do to help but I'm still covered under a 90 day warranty and refused to help. They told me I was pretty much s*** out of luck. I do not recommend them, I suggest that you do business elsewhere.

Bought my Chevy from Hayes Chevrolet, Baldwin Ga. At about 68,000 miles, a check of my differential revealed that it was critically low of lubricant. Since Hayes' invoice states that they check all fluids, I assumed the fluid in the differential would be checked also. Not so! I spoke with a service advisor that was there at the time, and was told the mechanics checked the differential if they had time. Their lack of time cost me $1,767.00 of which Terry Hayes made a business decision not to accept any responsibility. I made a decision to continue doing business with Hayes, but from then on I would ask to have the differential checked for low fluid level at each oil change. Evidently my request to check my fluid level at each oil change was overlooked, since the mechanic did not have time. At 90,136 miles my fluid was 75% below full. Very dangerous fluid level, but I won't pay for this one. Hopefully, Mr. Hayes, this review will cost you more than the $1,767.00 I lost because of you. Thus far, you have lost three new car sales to our family members who have refused to purchase from you. In addition you will lose our oil changes on three different vehicles, new tire sales, and mechanical repairs. Seems to me that only one of your mechanics have time to do his job. Your invoice states, that " you check all fluids". Maybe it should say, "Except for the Differential". Thanks Terry Hayes, for standing behind your mistakes. J.S Cornelia Ga.

In the last 30 years in business I have purchased over 20 plus Chevrolet vehicles , many of them trucks. When I sold my business I kept an old pick up because although it looks a little worn on the outside I knew how it had been maintained and knew it was a good vehicle. When I first approached Hayes Chevrolet on the truck they said they don't work on the 6.5 Diesel engine so it's always been a hassle for service. They will change the oil and filter but that's it. I get the sense that they feel as though I'm bringing in a piece of junk for them to service. This last time was no different when after rotating the tires a hubcap fell off after picking up my vehicle. I was told that they are not responsible and that happens sometimes. If Chevrolet is the longest lasting best built truck on the highway then why do they not want to service the longest lasting best built truck on the highway. Maybe we play a part in this story!

It was well worth the hour long drive up to Baldwin for our vehicle. After getting the runaround from several other dealers (who would have rather turned a sale away than taken a cash deal) we made the trip up to see Ted in Baldwin. He and the sales manager made it happen for us with no problems. It was the easiest, most stress free process for us. Such a breath of fresh air from what we had been dealing with for weeks before. They also offer an awesome referral program. We will definitely use Hayes again in the future. Ask for Ted- he's a really nice, no b.s. type of guy!
