Another disappointing experience in the cosmetics department. I have never met a more rude, more self-important, group of retail workers. I have had better service at Walmart then the service I received at the Northpointe Mall location of Von Maur.The canned response is always, we are short staffed. This is a problem; Von Maur's problem. As a consumer, I am very tired of retail stores making their problem, my problem. My only problem should be finding something to buy.The only silver lining of this experience is, finally, Von Maur has had my experience. The lady I dealt with is actually an Estee Lauder employee (and certainly a problem for Estee Lauder) and is now a problem for Von Maur.How does this feel to have someone's problem made into your problem? Now you know how I feel. Please solve your own problems.

The employees are so kind and will help you find whatever you need. An employee today helped me pick out my graduation dress.Enough changing rooms that I imagine there is never a wait.Styles for all occasions, like casual to formal.The sale stuff has good prices but otherwise it is really expensive.

Von Maur is a wonderful experience every time I go, but I wanted to take a moment and share how awesome Dawn was to my mother and myself.We went shopping for an upcoming trip that my mother will be taking with my sister. New clothes, new shoes, handbags (thankfully there were handbags designed specifically for concerts) , and make-up. Dawn was at another counter when we started looking and not only did she find everything my Mom needed, but she also recommended some items that are perfect for a trip.We thought we were all done and then Dawn shared that we could participate in a special giveaway if we could just wait a few days and come back to pick up our items. We did and the add-ins were phenomenal! If you haven't tried Juliette Has a Gun, I would totally recommend that now that we've had a chance to try it out.We spent quite a bit of time with Dawn, identifying the best cosmetic products for the trip, testing some recommendations, and getting the win by waiting a few days and returning to a bunch of wonderful gifts.Dawn, thanks for helping us and for prepping my Mom for a trip she is really looking forward to. And Von Maur, your employees make your store our go to experience anytime we want to shop. Thanks for everything y'all do.

What a surprise! I decided to just cruise around a Von Maur to see a beautiful building with Uber class clothing & things (but clearly not in a price range I consider "responsible.") Boy, was I wrong! Their quality was at least as high as I expected... Top notch, even Uber Class! But, to my great surprise, the prices were competitive with discount houses!!! I should have been shopping here for years! The quality was so spectacular, and sale prices lower than the cheapest discount stores, that I could not resist buying my wife (not with me) a Spectacular sequined jacket and pants outfit for almost giveaway prices (on sale)! If I told you the jacket cost $16 on discount, would you believe me? Well, check me out. They have massive discounts of top quality clothing at set times each week. I just, by chance, got lucky it was one of those days... Oh, and the store interior was as beautiful as the outside. Simply Uber Class! At hard to believe DISCOUNTS! Enjoy!

Rude customer service. They really didn’t want to help me get the shoes I needed. I had to ask multiple times until I finally got upset and almost yelled to just GO GET THE SHOES. Lady was also asking the kid I nanny for her information about where her parents were etc. I had to intervene and tell her to stop asking about personal business. The manager in the shoe section was no help either. I asked him for a different size and he just said I don’t have it. Instead of giving suggestions on what he did have. Such a shame especially because Von Maur’a customer service is usually great.

Amazing service. I've been a customer since they opened in Atlanta. The selection is always great and I don't have to deal with messy over crowded racks or customers. I'm in and out and always find what I'm looking for and more.
